Pros: Excellent mileage with 4-cyl engine. Surprisingly good power and speed. Comfortable interior
Cons: Water on trunk splashes feet when opened. Standard warranty (3yr/36K) could be better.
The Bottom Line: Suitable "upgrade" over subcompacts and economy cars. Not quite luxury status or total sports car performance but great for daily commute.
Review: Here's my story: moved from NY to FL in 2004. Had a 2002 Jeep Liberty 4WD in NY. First job in FL was a 120 mile daily commute. The Jeep's 15 mpg (highway) had to go. (I was filling up every 3 days)! Wanted to get a good mileage car but not a really ...

A Hidden Gem

Pros: Power, size and comfort. Navigation System, Dependability
Cons: None so far. Maybe the price of a new Navigation DVD.
The Bottom Line: This is a fabulous car. A hidden gem compared to others out there. I Highly recommend it.
Review: I bought my 2004 Honda Accord 4dr Sedan last year (new). My specs are V6 -auto trans, Leather, Navigation System and XM Radio. I was trading in a 1997 Honda Civic EX. I was considering others like the BMW 325, or perhaps a Nissan Maxima. This top ...

2004 Honda Accord as a replacement for a 1997 Firebird Formula

Pros: whooosh!; 6-speed-240hp; 0-60 in 5.9s; FWD in bad weather; heated seats
Cons: boring style; little sister says I am old; engine noise wimpy; customer-service; FWD cornering
The Bottom Line: I think this is the best car for the money. It has excellent acceleration, poor weather handling, and is top-notch in saftey.
Review: I call it the whoosh effect. I was on my way to buy an Infiniti FX, but I promised myself a drive in stick shift Honda before I went the mini-van route. I had a 1997 Firebird Formula with 285 hp, but I found that the Honda Accord had a 0-60 time that was ...

Pros: Comfortable and reliable. But chose new or used
Cons: Little road noise.
The Bottom Line: I find a little more cost in the front end save so much more in money and time over the long hull
Review: We bought our Honda Accord used in a private sale as we have done a few times before. We always have done very well finding what we want from someone about to trade in their lease. Our 2004 has just over 60,000 miles on it and we just put on a new set ...

Pros: Good on fuel economy & Practical / low maintenance
Cons: ugly hub caps
The Bottom Line: Excellent car for the money - Don't be fooled by the imitators.
Review: Sure, you can buy a Hyundai Sonata with more feature's and maybe even a 6 cylinder engine, but think about this perspective before you make a decision. The bottom line is this. Honda's hold their value. If you are in the market for this car, you would ...

Pros: good gas mileage, roomy, stylish, comfortable, NO PROBLEMS!!!
Cons: 3 years/36,000 mile-warranty seems a bit short
The Bottom Line: I highly recommend this car because it is problem-free, smooth to drive, affordable, stylish, and gets good gas mileage. I love mine!
Review: I am currently leasing a 2004 Honda Accord, 4dr. automatic LX. I leased the car new in August of 2004 and I LOVE it. I must admit I really wanted the EX (a step up from the LX) just for the sun-roof, but my budget-conscious husband encouraged me to ...

Pros: Great performer and all-around great car.
Cons: Typical Honda style and idiosyncratic small stuff.
The Bottom Line: When I die, I want to be buried in this car! Love it!! Hate the doors!
Review: We have had Hondas since 1987 - and we purchased the 2004, EX 4-cyl in 2004 new. We really love this car, despite some odd and intermittent problems. The wind noise in this car is worse than our previous Accord and our Civic. The light on our optional ...

Pros: Handling, Road Noise, Great Fuel Economy for V6, and more!
Cons: Windshield wipers (original & replacements) do a so-so job of cleaning in dry weather.
The Bottom Line: Bottom line is Awesome Dependable Vehicle, Period.
Review: Background: I bought the 2004 Accord Sedan LX V6 brand new in April 2004. I now have 110,000 miles ( ) on it. I drive for a living, I do 50 to 200 miles a day. Usually around 100 (5 days a week). I start the car up 6 - 12 times per work day ...

Pros: Roomy, economical, nice styling
Cons: Wish I had got leather
Review: I had to have a 4 door vehicle for my job and I was given a fixed $$$ value and set gas allowance. I looked at the Nissan family and the various American models and chose the Accord with a 4 cyl, 5 speed. The 4 cyl has more than enough power combined ...

Pros: classy interior, quiet drive, low fuel comsumption, spacious interior for a coupe!
Cons: None!
Review: I used to own a 95 nissan Altima (wait a minute....there is a point to this story). The most impressive thing I realized after owning an automatic V6 Accord Coupe is that the fuel comsumption is relatively low. My Altima had a 4 cyl 2.2 L and Accord is ...
