Pros: Excellent sound; great information in liner notes. Must have for any jazz collection.
Cons: None.
The Bottom Line: Hot Fives and Sevens is pure original American music, by an original American jazz genius, and is a required collection for anyone.
Review: For any Louis Armstrong or traditional jazz fan, this 4-CD box set is essential. For anyone not familiar with Satchmo but would like to know the essence of his brilliance as a musician, buy this set!! The music was recorded in Chicago and New York ...
