Pros: Cute storyline kids relate to and enjoy.
Cons: Gross worm-eating throughout.
The Bottom Line: Good for kids, not so good for parents' stomachs! Well done story but definitely gross.
Review: I have to say, I considered calling this review, "You've Got to Be Kidding Me . . . " because that's what I think every time my kids watch this movie on our cable channels. And unfortunately for Mom, the premium channels seem to think it's great to ...

Pros: Universal theme played out as a kids movie. Very cute and surprisingly real.
Cons: One and two-dimensional characters - especially the adults. But it IS comedy!!
The Bottom Line: A reminder that universal truths are exactly that - that what varies is the target audience. I am always on the lookout for good family fun- this is some!

Pros: The children didn't hate it.
Cons: But I did.
The Bottom Line: I think I'd rather eat the worms than watch the film.
Review: It finally happened. I hit theatrical rock bottom. Cinematic Purgatory. The Celluloid Cellar. In this calendar year, I have attended precisely two movies in an actual theater. On one of these occasions I not only went, but took several ...

Pros: Based on a good novel
Cons: Kids didn't like it
I didn't like it Severely diverged from original novel The Bottom Line: If you like Fear Factor, stick to watching that. This film doesn't hold a candle to the source material.
Review: I remember when I was a kid, they would have you read certain books. They were, REQUIRED READING. One such book was How to eat Fried Worms. I remember other kids raving about this book and how good it was. When I read it as a kid, I thought ...
