Iomega 100MB Parallel Port ZIP Drive: Dated technology that lasts a long time

Pros: Never had a moments problem with the drive
Cons: Slow, small disk capacity, can not play MP3s from the disks without glitches
The Bottom Line: The bottom line likes floppy disks (the 5 inch type).
Review: I bought this ZIP drive in 1999 to store photos and MP3 files so I wouldn’t have to keep them on my hard drive. Little did I know then that 100MB is miniscule compared the gigabytes of data I now store on DVD and CD media. At the time the ZIP drive ...
