Nice vehicle!

by   pcmahn ,  Sep 19, 2002
Pros: Great looking, rides nice, very dependable.
Cons: Gas mileage, paint, sensors.
The Bottom Line: I think this vehicle is an excellent value as a second car.
Review: This 93 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0 4WD just turned 100K miles. It still looks good and drives almost like new. Everything on this feature-packed 4WD works perfectly. I have had the normal wear and tear repairs, but nothing major. Since the vehicle is short...

Excellente!

by   benh13 ,  Nov 18, 2002
Pros: long-lasting, low maintenance, great options, great-looking paint after 9 years
Cons: wind whistles on highway
The Bottom Line: buy it, keep it , love it.
Review: I just got mine over the weekend - it has 181,000 miles and is running better than most Grand Cherokees from the same year with less mileage that I also test drove.
The paint and interior are beautiful, especially considering it's nine years old!...

Will it ever stop?

by   shotgun_000 ,  Dec 21, 2003
Pros: Super reliable, decent power from engine, easy to drive.
Cons: Rides a little rough, interior very basic.
The Bottom Line: Cheap, fun vehicle to drive daily, that is very reliable. Also good for snow and occasional offroad use.
Review: We have owned our Cherokee Sport for about 5 years. Currently, it has about 140,000 miles on it. It has been very reliable, and has never broken down. The only major problem, if you can call it that, was that a new water pump was needed at 100,000 ...

Review: I have bought Jeep's for a while now, this is my second one ,that tells you how long you can depend on Jeep,I really didn't want to get rid of my other Jeep but it was only a two door, four doors work better with kids.

by   william316 ,  Jan 5, 2001
Pros: Excellent on and offroad, great power
Cons: some say they get stolen alot
Review: I purchased my Jeep Cherokee with 80'000 km on it and did so only because some aquaintances of mine had recommended it so highly. I have been very pleased with my purchase. My Jeep was bought with the intention of putting it through some tough use on and...

Pros: Interior, Exterior, Engine, Ability to get you out of nearly any situation
Cons: 15 miles to the gallon...
Review: My first car was a 1987 Jeep Cherokee, and since then, I've owned nothing but Jeeps. Currently, I own a 93 Grand Cherokee Limited and a 93 Grand Cherokee Laredo. Let me say, for the first year that Jeep produced this vehicle, they sure made a winner!...

Nine Days

by   Illusionary ,  Jun 13, 2000
Pros: Roomy. Smooth Ride.
Cons: Gas Guzzler.
Review: Okay, I've only had my Jeep for nine days now, but I am already in love with it. I used to have a tiny, cramped for space, Pontiac Grand Am but this Jeep is so comfortable and roomy. The backseat is big, and with fold down seats the trunk is giant,...

LET ME TELL YOU

by   mothergoose ,  Dec 7, 1999
Pros: Security, Value, and Reliability
Cons: Gas Mileage, Tire usage.
Review: I bought this vehicle because I was an outcast in society. Noticing that all the other teens my age at the time were into the small sport rocket cars with the 1000 dollar hub caps. I decided that I wanted something with a little more backbone. I...

Cons: Gas 15-20Mpg
The Bottom Line: 190,000 miles and still strong
Review: I recently turned 190,000 miles on a 1993, Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4x4. I must say that this has been the best car that I have ever owned. During the past decade that I have owned this vehicle I have had to replace:

Love The Jeep

by   Phyllisc ,  Feb 3, 2000
Pros: No major problems
Cons: A little pricey
Review: I bought my Jeep Grand Cherokee in 1993 (new). I leased it and thought when the lease was up I would just get something else. Well I fell in love with it and I still have it today. It was not cheap but it has had a very good maintenance record. I...
