1995 Wrangler S 4 cyl./5 speed Soft-top

by   sj2dr74 ,  Nov 4, 2006
Pros: Great off-road, nimble, and a blast to drive. Inexpensive to own.
Cons: Small interior cargo space, not a comfy road-tripper.
The Bottom Line: If you Have less than four people to transport, need a winter vehicle, short commuter, or go off-road, there is NO better value in four wheel drive. 1995 or today!
Review: I bought this Jeep brand new in 1-05. I now have over 197k miles and love it more now than the day I bought it. I can say that honestly because I traded a 6 cylinder Jeep Comanche pick-up in on this Jeep. My son was getting too big to fit in the middle ...

Review: I have a 1995 Jeep Wrangler Rio Grande, aqua blue pearl coat, soft top and she is beautiful. I bought this Jeep because I knew how much fun and what a great vehicle it is and it looks and rides much better then a compact car. I love the ability to take...

For the kid in all of us

by   Big_E ,  Mar 21, 2000
Pros: Just an all around great little car
Cons: getting into the back seat; putting the top up and down
Review: Living in Ohio I frequently find myself up to my tush in snow. I like to tell myself that's why I bought a Wrangler, but who am I kidding. I'm still a kid at heart and I love my Wrangler.

My Wrangler, a black '95, is your most basic...

a jeep above any other

by   xtremefan ,  May 2, 2003
Pros: better than a convertible, attention getter, reliable, fun, tough, fun
Cons: gas mpg, manifold leak, not enough horses
The Bottom Line: This is a great buy. Try and buy from someone who has a jeep next to the one he is selling. True Jeep lovers will have another.
Review: I`ve owned 3 wranglers (90, 92, 95) and I never had more than routine maintenance on mine. All I bought with 95K + miles. The Most costly was the `90, water pump, stabilizer arms(wonder why), fuel pump, and battery. Not bad for a 4 cylinder at 100K+...

Your last chance for a real jeep!

by   cplummer ,  Mar 14, 2001
Pros: Tough as nails, super fun
Cons: Definitely not your commuting solution
The Bottom Line: If you can get your hands on a 1995, snap it up. It's the last of an extinct group for sure.
Review: I realize that the title might sound a bit stiff, but the '95s are your last chance to get a Jeep Wrangler that hasn't been completely "Chryslerized". While I am a big fan of the '97+ suspension and grill styling, the newer interior modifications are...

Ya know you want one!

by   JMueksch ,  Jan 5, 2000
Pros: Everything
Cons: The gas
Review: Maybe it's a guy thing-- doubtful. Maybe it's a fun thing-- definitely. Whatever the thing is, you've got to get it! My dad own's a 1995 Wrangler and besides the gas it uses, to me, there is not one thing wrong with this car. Sitting higher than...

1995 Jeep Wranglers Rock

by   ROBERTMOORE ,  Jan 25, 2000
Pros: more rugged, classic colors and design
Cons: gas cap under the back tail light, square lights
Review: In August 1995, I purchased a 1995 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Edition. It was the best investment that I have made. The reason that I purchased the 1995 model over the newer model is simple. The 1995 is rugged and classic. I don't worry if I get caught in...

Why a Wrangler is as Essential as Food!!

by   RJOBX ,  Dec 27, 2000
Pros: Dependable, Rugged, Jeep Experience
Cons: 4 CYL., GAS MILEAGE
Review: I purchased my 1995 Jeep Wrangler S from my father for one reason - everyone should go through life driving a vehicle with an experience as big as its name. The freedom, the ruggedness, the adventure, and the attitude are as powerful as the appearance....
