Pros: goes ANYWHERE, agile, customizable, made for "free spirits"
Cons: drives like a tank on the road, sucks gas, limited storage/security
The Bottom Line: i've thought about trading it but i just can't. it is too much a reflection of my personality. easily customizable and loads of quirkiness,..the Wrangler is singularly unique.
Review: i'd always been intrigued by the Jeep Wrangler and when my '93 Nissan Pathfinder totalled itself (courtesy of a broken timing belt) i took the plunge. my Wrangler is a '99 SE 4 cylinder 5-speed with hard top and tow package. i've loved it and loathed it ...

Pros: Quite ride for not having any sound deadening material Wide array of cheap aftermarket accessarys.
Cons: Not for yuppys! Bad Chrystler Paint!!!
The Bottom Line: I would reccomend this vehicle to those who know what they want and understand the consequences and also the good things about a Wrangler
Review: I just bought my '99 Jeep Wrangler Sport two weeks ago at a Toyota/Volvo dealrership where I purchased my Volvos40. I liked the S40 but im glad I got the extended warranty on it. The retail value sucked and I was glad to get rid of it. I was ...

Pros: very cool, fun, goes anywhere
Cons: low gas mileage, not comfortable for very very long rides
The Bottom Line: You don't buy this car for the comfort. You buy it to off road, go anywhere, and be cool.
Review: I bought my Jeep Wrangler because it was so cool. It still is a cool car. The style is classic and it gets tons of looks. You can do so much to it and with it. Jeep holds Camp Jeep every summer. You take your Jeep there and they show you what it ...

Pros: Go anywhere, do anything.
Cons: Gas.
The Bottom Line: Buying a Jeep is like buying a family Dog, each breed has it’s quirks. When you get past that – you either love it, or you hate it.
Review: I bought my 99 wrangler sport with 52,000 miles on it and now in (2007) it has 120,000 miles on it. I can tell you that nothing has ever gone wrong with it - that is to say, nothing that I didn't cause myself. I cracked the tranny once when I ...

Pros: fun, econimical, never out of style
Cons: lots of road noise, stiff suspension.
Review: I have always wanted a jeep and had a Jeep Cherokee in 1993 that I loved, so purchasing a Wrangler was an easy decision. I bought an all black 1999 Wrangler SE with 4 cyl and 5 speed trans. As other reviewers have reported the road noise is a lot more...

Rugged as they're made (today)

Pros: Rugged, tough, sturdy (check your thesaurus for others) as they come in today's market.
Cons: Excess road noise. Soft top (including half doors) need complete re-design.
The Bottom Line: A true SUV. Not for execs, soccer moms, or status seekers.
Review: Okay, Jeeps are not for everyone. I'll just comment on mine, since I've had it for over four years. It's a '99 Wrangler SE, with a 4-cylinder engine. A typical 'stripper' off the lot (no fringes, no back seat, or even a radio, I installed the radio I ...

Pros: FUN FUN FUN!!, soft top easy to remove, hard top great for winter, 4x4
Cons: Horrible Gas Mileage, Auto Tranny stinks, Insurance
Review: The scene is summer 1999, just got out of college, just got married, and we needed a new vehicle. Myself being 23 and my wife 21 our #1 priority was the top needed to come off (of the vehicle!). Period! Our first thought was a 1999 Mustang Convertible,...

Pros: Fun, Fun, FUN!!! GREAT Off-Road...Too many other pros to list here!
Cons: Road Noise and Lack of Storage Space
Review: I wrote my first epinion on my beloved 99 Wrangler Sport back in September 99, just one week after purchase...now I'm back with an update, and I love it more today than I did when I authored that first glowing report!
During the last 8... |

Pros: The only way to travel off the beaten path!
Cons: This is no minivan!
The Bottom Line: I recommend this for off road fun. She keeps her promises.
Review: This is the funnest vehicle I have ever owned! I can go whenever I like. I can climb steep Jeep trails and not even shift into four wheel drive! The Jeep owns the off road experience.
The Jeep is very stable off road. You will be very... |

Pros: Go Anywhere, Great Fun, Real SUV without Hassles, Great View of the Road
Cons: Some Wind Noise, Limited Storage
Review: As a previous owner of sports cars, I began seriously researching the Jeep Wrangler back in 1997 when I got tired of being unable to take my mountain bike with me (not to mention scraping bottom at the slightest of road bumps!) Over 3 years, I read...
