Good hardware, software so-so

Pros: Inexpensive, works, OK for basic analog video capture, compatible with other software packages.
Cons: Needs fast PC & Directx 9.0.
Vista compatable ???
CyberLink software didn't work for me.
The Bottom Line: The video/audio capture quality is OK.  It has worked relatively flawlessly and is not restricted to proprietary software.  Good value for the price, CyberLink software was the weakest part.

Not for Vista

Pros: cheap but not for Vista out of the box
Cons: software that comes with is useless under Vista.
Review: I bought the KWorld DVD Maker USB2.0 for 39.95 at Fry's. After spending two days downloading patches , new drivers, etc. it still doesn't work well under Vista Home Premium(but then again what does?)I still can't plug in my analog 8mm camcorder and ...
