Pros: A great family tent, lots of room for kids and a dog or two.
Cons: Definitely NOT for backpackers.
Review: I bought my first Kelty tent from Costco about 7 years ago for my son and myself. As a single mom, I wanted to introduce my son to the fun of camping but didn't want to hassle with a complicated set-up. This model goes up in less than 5 minutes and...

Pros: great stability in wind, allows breeze through
Cons: somewhat difficult for one person to set up
The Bottom Line: Excellent versatile product. Plenty of shade, allows breeze, very stable in wind. Great for car campers or families who need shade on the beach.
Review: I was looking for a stable shelter for shade on the beach while we camp, and purchased a medium Sunshade last year (medium is plenty big) We have two little kids who like to swim and play in sand, and most beaches have few trees for shade. This shelter ...

Pros: Excellent quality, first-class design, flexibility
Cons: Set-up in a breeze requires two people
Review: I purchased the Kelty Sunshade for our trip to Martha's Vineyard. Some friends have a place in Chilmark which is on the south shore, fully exposed to the ocean breezes. This product provided much needed shade on a wide open beach. We set it up in a ...

Pros: Perfect in so many ways.
Cons: The POLES!
The Bottom Line: I would recommend the sunshade. I think we have had bad luck with the poles, I just wanted to share our experience.
Review: I was determined to have this sunshade. My husband and I went back and forth, he was after a different version, while I would hear non of it, I was sure the Kelty Sunshade was right for us. We have two young children and I thought this would be perfect ...

Pros: Simple design, feels very open, wind resistant.
Cons: Not easy to set up, does not provide a lot of shade, Low profile.
The Bottom Line: This is a good solution for campers that need shade and run the risk of being in a windy environment.
Review: Why I got it My wife wanted this shade for when we went to the desert. For some strange reason, she liked this one and it was substantially reduced from the list price. So we got it. What is comes with 6 stakes 3 guyout cords ...

Pros: Great concept, excellent shelter fabric, adjustable height, ample shade, good resistance against wind.
Cons: Takes too long and too much trouble to set up and take down.
The Bottom Line: I think this is a good product for car camping, especially with several individuals, but not something for backpacking, unless the pole configuration is changed.
Review: I just finished taking down our large Kelty Sunshade which Santa brought the family for Christmas. I thought it would be a great way to provide shade for soccer events and camping. My initial idea was to use it over our MSR tent as it's often too hot ...

Pros: none
Cons: heavy; provides little shade; hard to set up
The Bottom Line: Don't buy it unless you plan to have a friend with you to help in setup and dismantling. Provides very little shade and much heat.
Review: I bought this to provide shade, as the name implies. A previous review says most of it--the product provides very little shade, and there is no ventilation except what wind might blow under the sides. Consequently there is considerable heat build-up,...

Pros: Good coverage, adjustable height, moved easily. One man put up operation.
Cons: The nylon material stuck to itself and made putting it up almost impossible.
Review: I saw one of these sunshades and thought it'd be great to go with my motorcycle camping things. The shade is compact to carry which was ideal. The fact it will cover a table or to park your bike under was also great. The problem I had was that the fabric ...
