The Bottom Line: Buy this unit ... you will be surprised at how well it works if you have a 2-6 year old microwave now!!
Review: We have had this microwave for about 4 weeks now and LOVE it. Our old Kitchenaid stainless steel microwave started arcing almost at every use so we retired it after only a couple of years. It was beautiful SS but did not work as nearly as well as ...

The best microwave I have ever used

by   analystken ,  Dec 20, 2007
Pros: Heats evenly, defrosts very well, great overall microwave
Cons: Only that it would be nice if it had a flat plug.
The Bottom Line: This is the best microwave you can buy. It heats evenly, defrosts well and works like a champ. It is also a nice modern look in black.
Review: I have had this microwave for 1 year now and it is without a doubt the best microwave I have ever used. I did a lot of research before I bought it on a number of shopping websites that have customer reviews and in a recent consumer reports magazine and ...

Terrific "Little" Microwave!

by   djs22867 ,  Jan 15, 2006
Pros: Interior space, easy to clean, quiet, good on-screen instructions, effective presets.
Cons: None!
Review: My last microwave recently had it's butt kicked by a particularly vicious bag of microwave popcorn. Being an unabashed Consumer Reports geek, I consulted the publication before heading out to purchase a replacement. Rated as their "Best Buy" for ...

Wonderful microwave!

by   moqueeine ,  Mar 6, 2007
Pros: size, price, ease of cooking and cleaning, features.
Cons: none so far!
Review: We used to own a Kenmore microwave that my parents purchased in 1978. That lasted us until 1998. Since then we have owned 3 other brands which only lasted 3 or less years each. I own almost all Kenmore appliances, and I don't think you can go wrong ...

What did I get myself into?

by   davec80 ,  Jan 16, 2006
Pros: CHEAP, oversized platter/interior, sensor works well, food tastes good
Cons: Kind of slow for 1200W, owner's manual needed for operation of several functions
The Bottom Line: This is a great value for a microwave for a small family. The features for the price (and size) are simply unbeatable.
Review: Our Sharp Carousel was worn out after several years of moderate use. We really needed a new microwave. Not wanting to wait for something to be delivered, we wanted to buy locally. But our choice of stores was somewhat limited, unless we wanted to do a ...

Review: I checked out this microwave in epinions before I bought it and only saw pretty good reviews. I bought it on Feb 2007. After having it for 6 months, it stopped heating food and I had to bring it back for repairs. They replace the magnetron (luckily, ...

Only lasted 14 months!!!!

by   frenkel111 ,  May 21, 2007
Pros: Easy to clean.
Cons: Not very durable.
Review: I picked this model because the interior was so easy to clean. Our previous microwaves had lasted about ten years, so we did not buy the expended warranty. But this one died after only 14 months! One day it just started making noise, giving off a ...
