We love this refrigerator!

by   adogma ,  Feb 17, 2008
Pros: Great functionality and size, very good icemaker and filtered water
Cons: Expensive--why do counter-depth models have to cost so much more?!
The Bottom Line: This is an outstanding fridge--the best counter-depth model we could find.
Review: We recently remodeled our kitchen and got this fridge as part of the remodel. We have had it just over a month. This was the one thing in the whole remodel project that my husband picked out--he liked it because of its size. It is, indeed, ...

Does its job: keeps my milk cold, and veggies fresh

by   seekins ,  Oct 25, 2007
Pros: keeps temperature accurately, some nice bells and whistles, sleek look, large capacity
Cons: stainless finish is easy to smudge, water dispenser drips after use
The Bottom Line: This is one of the biggest reasonably priced counter depth models on the market, and it does a good job keeping stuff cold and fresh.
Review: When we went shopping for a refrigerator for our kitchen, we set out to get a Whirlpool - as they have a really good reputation these days. After researching a little, I found out that KitchenAid refrigerators are actually made by Whirlpool; which led us ...

A pretty average side-by-side fridge from KitchenAid

by   pilarzmom ,  Apr 10, 2008
Pros: Counter Depth; easy to clean; digital controls; runs quietly
Cons: Lacks innovative design; little small; Ice/water dispenser is messy
The Bottom Line: Good fridge, but lacks the wow factor to set it a part from the crowd.
Review: While I am very happy to have a much larger kitchen in my new home, I wasn't too pleased by the refrigerator location. Located directly across from the island, it meant that we'd have to get a counter-depth fridge so that it didn't stick out too far and ...

KitchenAid Architect Series KSRA25ILSS13

by   irishys ,  Jan 1, 2008
Pros: Looks nice, Ice Maker on the door (leaving room in the freezer) Keeps foods cold.
Cons: Poor Customer Service, Drawers are flimsy, Expensive product
The Bottom Line: For a "top of the line" refridgerator the drawers should work better. KitchenAid needs to improve their customer service.
Review: We bought this refridgerator 3 years ago as part of a kitchen renovation. While spending thousands of dollars on the renovation it seemed silly to skimp on appliances, so we wound up choosing this refridgerator. I liked the look of it, the glass shelves, ...

Malfunction caused serious damage to our house

by   beaudot_dt1 ,  Nov 10, 2008
Pros: None.
Cons: Poor design puts your house at risk.
Review: Beware, this refrigerator(6 mos old) had an electronics malfunction that turned the water dispenser on over night, and flooded our house causing $15,000 in damages, and leaving our house unlivable for 3 weeks.Kitchenaid has been beyond ...

Undependable. Defective. Very Disappointing.

by   twann ,  Jul 30, 2008
Pros: When it works its average.
Cons: If you are foolish enough to buy KitchenAid, purchase the extended warranty and backup units.
Review: I am completely dissatisfied with the dependability and service for KitchenAid. We purchased all new KithenAid appliances less than two years ago. So far the electronic control on the dishwasher malfunctioned at less than a year, fortunately under ...
