Pros: Stunningly good-looking. Works perfectly. Simple to clean.

Cons: Rather expensive. Vulnerable to blemishing if used carelessly with aluminum.

The Bottom Line: Forget your old objections to electric cooktops. They don't apply here. Excellent heat control. Simple to clean. Style, style, style.
