Pros: Fits in a shirt pocket, durable, intuitive, long battery life, point and shoot simplicity.

The Bottom Line: The Kodak C653 digital camera has point and shoot simplicity, a great design, and will reward you with many great photos.
Review: As a Realtor, I needed a good digital camera. Many of our photos are interior shots which are not well lit. While our office camera has all the bells and whistles, the buttons are tiny and the camera itself is rather bulky. It is embarrassing to ...

Pros: Fits in my pocket Good Value Love the Macro and video for the price

The Bottom Line: pocket sized camera that is basic, but also gives a few nifty features that can enhance island pleasure.
Review: My wife and I have been looking through a series of cameras since the first of the year. She needed to upgrade one for herself, I lost my little pocket digital, and she also needed a couple of cameras for her camera club at school. Most of the cameras we ...

Review: The Kodak EasyShare C653 digital camera has been a very good camera for me in many ways. It's only a little thicker than a deck of cards, so it's easy to slip into a pocket and go. My previous digital, which had an impressive array of features, ...

Excellent point and shoot

by   ag4hq ,  Mar 18, 2007
Pros: Great pics and lots of features for the price. Easy to use.
Cons: SD card slot is in the battery compartment. Kodak does not include a case.
The Bottom Line: If you are in the market for an inexpensive digital camera that is easy to use and will give you great pics, consider the C653.
Review: I received this for my birthday as an upgrade to my old 1.3MP camera. My previous camera was a Samsung Digimax, but at work we use a Kodak digital, and I was impressed with it enough to buy one for personal use. I bought the C653 on sale at Office Depot ...

Cons: Recycle time is slow, won't fit in very many pockets, battery life is short.

Not a particular good digital camera

by   epinionsjunk ,  Jul 9, 2007
Pros: Accurate color presentation, easy to use.
Cons: Lousy resolution, more like a 2 or 3 mega-pixel.
The Bottom Line: I would shy away from the Kodak C653 because it isn't much of an improvement over throw-away film cameras, other than the ability to manipulate the photos.
Review: I read reviews about the Kodak C653, which scored the camera quite highly for a 6 mega-pixel. Office Depot had it on sale for $109, so I took the plunge. Sadly, the camera was a great disappointment. I have perfectly good 20/20 vision, and the C653 ...
