Puts the "easy" in Easyshare!

by   ericswife ,  Jul 9, 2008
Pros: Size & weight Ease of use Helpful scene options to take better pics
Cons: Some pics look grainy after you get them onto your computer.
The Bottom Line: If you're a professional photographer, looking to take professional photos - get a professional camera. If you're the Average Joe wanting to take better pictures, get this camera!
Review: I bought this to replace a $600 camera that I bought in 2003! (Olympus Camedia) My previous camera took excellent pictures, so I wasn't expecting much for this price - especially since it is so tiny in comparison! I lucked out and got it for $50 off ...

Nice camera, shame about the image quality

by   lousygolfer ,  Feb 12, 2008
Pros: Compact, nicely built, lots of features, good video + macro modes
Cons: Generally poor, grainy image quality. Few included accessories, long delays writing from buffer to SDcard
The Bottom Line: In almost every category, the similarly sized Casios are superior. For low light conditions, buy a Fujifilm F40d. If speed's not an issue, buy a Canon Elph instead.
Review: 2.5 Stars I bought one of these for my wife two months ago and she is quite happy with it, so I guess it is a successful gift, but I find it has a number of shortcomings, most significant of which is the image quality. A few months ago my wife ...

Grany and Pink

by   binvt ,  Aug 6, 2008
Pros: It is a Kodak.
Cons: Grany and bad color
Review: I agree with the others that don't like this camera. I expected so much more for 8mpx and Kodak. Adds too much pink to (white) flesh tones. Using the flash also makes everything look very grany. ...

KODAK EASYSHARE M883

by   mummikim ,  Dec 26, 2007
Pros: Attractive design.
Cons: Appalling picture quality.
The Bottom Line: I've only been able to take good shots in bright sunlight. After viewing sample photos, Kodak tell me the horrible grainy photo quality is "normal" for this model.
Review: I bought one of these at the end of September 2007, attracted by the large LCD, and my previous good experience of a Kodak digital camera. I've found that unless photos are taken in brilliant sunshine, the photos are so grainy as to be useless. This ...

So disappointed with Kodak Easyshare M883.

by   hunybe ,  Jan 15, 2008
Pros: Nice and small
Cons: Awful quality of pics. Blurry and grainy.
Review: I was saddened when my old camera a Kodak Easyshare CX7430 no longer worked. I was so happy with it and took so many beautiful pictures. So my husband bought me a new Kodak M883 for Christmas. It was supposed to be way better than what I had. I got the ...

Kodak Easy Share M883 Poor Quality Pictures
