The Bottom Line: Well after all of my rabbling, the bottom line is that this is a great camera at a great price with great user friendly features. Grab it while you can.

Kodak DX4530 - Great Camera!

by   leebocuz ,  Sep 21, 2004
Pros: Best value for the money, good pictures, ease of use
Cons: No major drawbacks that I can think of.
The Bottom Line: Great camera for the money - for an average photographer you can't go wrong.
Review: This camera is an excellent bargain. It is one of the cheapest quality 5 megapixel cameras you will find on the market. At the time of this writing the camera itself is probably over a year old which is ancient in today’s technology standards but its ...

Great Resolution for the Price

by   gizmo007 ,  Jul 22, 2004
Pros: Resolution, Movie Mode
Cons: Only 3x optical zoom
The Bottom Line: Totally worth your money and time.
Review: This Kodak camera was one I picked out for my 21st birthday. I was looking for a camera with high resolution but at a very affordable price. I was intending to choose a 3.2 mp camera for about $299 but this exclusive kodak camera was the same price ...

Could This Be One Of The Best???

by   sixhotpeppers ,  Feb 4, 2008
Pros: Terrific professional quality photos, many easy to use features, very durable.
Cons: Uses batteries quickly but this is not a major issue.
The Bottom Line: I highly recommend the Kodak DX4530. It is superior to any other camera of it's class and style. Money well spent, thank you Kodak!
Review: Could this be one of the best? I purchased my Kodak DX4530 Digital Camera about three years ago. I haven't had one single problem with it. It has the same quality as it did three years ago. When I made the purchase I paid about $300 for the camera and ...

Technology Illiterate... IT'S OKAY!!

by   tamraarruda ,  Nov 12, 2004
Pros: SO EASY to use camera and software. Takes videos, too. Great resolution.
Cons: The kids wiggle out of position before the camera takes the shot.
The Bottom Line: I can't say enough about how easy this camera is to use. The software makes it so easy to e-mail or "play" with pictures.
Review: Okay, I know so many of us are worried about getting a digital camera. You're thinking "Gee, I'd really like to do all those neat things, like e-mail pictures. But, I'm not going to understand how to use it.". Well, if you are currently USING e-mail, ...

by   themercantile ,  Dec 23, 2003
Pros: A great camera for someone looking for point and shoot features. Great family camera!
Cons: The silly little lens cap is really a pain!
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this for anyone who wants to take great pictures with ease!
Review: My experience with Kodak has not been very positive, so when my husband presented me with this camera for Christmas, I didn't quite know what to say. I told him that I would try it out and see what it could do. Keep in mind, all I really want was a ...

Movin on up

by   dazey ,  Dec 5, 2004
Pros: Very easy to use and user friendly.
Cons: I wish it had a better display indicator for battery & photos remaining.
The Bottom Line: This is a great camera if you're looking for something reliable and not too expensive.
Review: My Kodak Easy Share DX 4530 was a present from my fiancee to replace my HP Photosmart that I'd slowly grown to despise. This fun and functional camera came with a useless lens cover and a handy wrist strap. The internal memory was actually quite ...

Excellent Camera

by   loxalot ,  May 6, 2006
Pros: Exposure time adjustments; 2580x1932 high-quality photos; photo modes; battery life
Cons: limited flash when using wide angle; bad software; card door can fall off easily
The Bottom Line: I definitely recommend this camera for anyone that wants top-notch photos. Like anything else, take care of it and it will last.
Review: After about a year or so of use I have found this camera to be a great camera for any type of shot you may want to get. The 5.0 Megapixels creates huge images with stunning quality that easily compare to those taken with professional cameras. The ...

Great Digital Camera

by   ejsweets ,  Jan 1, 2007
Pros: Great Digital Camera
Cons: Slow shutter speed
The Bottom Line: This is a great first digital camera. I would definitely purchase it again.
Review: We purchased the Kodak 4530 in 2004 when we were expecting our first child. Since then we have taken over 8000 high quality photos. At 5 mega pixels it is now one of the lower mega-pixel cameras but we have always been happy with the quality. We have had ...

Awesome pictures with not much skill needed

by   scillessen ,  Dec 7, 2003
Pros: Perfect pictures, ease of use, long AA battery life, low price!
Cons: ??? silly lens cap, ...still thinking....
The Bottom Line: This camera costs less and takes better pictures than almost any other camera!
Review: This camera is nearly perfect out of the box. Drop the included pair of AA batteries in and start clicking. The picture quality is the best I've seen in any digital camera. It takes better pictures than my moms $4000 Minolta 35mm! When printed on a ...
