Pros: Handling, Suspension, Power, off road, 7 passenger seating. no cheap finishes, technology!
Cons: gas guzzler, no optional third row with captains seating in the back seat.
The Bottom Line: If you want space, safety, handling, and monstorous capabilities get it, If you just want speed get a car, but the LR3 exudes comfort and practicality.
Review: Okay.. this is my second LR. Must first off say that I'm a huge fan of Japanese reliability; I had to learn how to work on my first Rover just so I could tell the mechanics how to fix it.. BUT!!! The new LR3 is amazing. We drive ours from AL to Pacific ...

Pros: Incredible comfort, great turning radius, raise and lower suspension, all the amenities.
Cons: Gas mileage (but this is a HUGE truck!)
Review: We purchased two Land Rover LR3 HSE models for the business and they are amazing vehicles. Only problem so far is that the dash light for tire pressure monitoring is always on, but the dealer will replace all my pressure monitors at the 6,000 KM ...

Pros: Smooth, comfortable ride on highway, quite, handles great on snowy roads, height adjustments.
Cons: Gas mileage, averages 14.5 mpg.
Review: This SUV is a dream to drive. The ride is very smooth, interior is quite. Traded in a 2002 Discovery Series II for the LR3. The Series II was a V8, the LR3 is a 6 cylinder. The power is basically about the same as the Series II. Plenty of power ...

Pros: Very comfortable, so far rock solid vehicle
Cons: No a gas sipper, taller than most vehicles. Maintenance can be expensive
The Bottom Line: Recommended. For the price point the LR3 offers one of the better rides with fantastic (though not used) off road capabilities.
Review: I had some selfish reasons for looking at the Land Rover LR3 in August 06. My lease on a Land Rover 2003 Freelander was about to expire, and I had 1200 mile drive looming in the near future for a family vacation. Although I had enjoyed my time driving ...

Pros: styling & comfort, fabulous off road, drives more like our BMW than any other SUV
Cons: gas mileage, lack of dealership coverage, reliability questionable
Review: I have to admit I have a love/hate relationship with this gorgeous beast. I've owned it since Oct '05. Initially, had a great experience. Loved the comfort, visibility, neat features, styling, performance, and mostly the solidity of it, we refer to it ...

Pros: Styling; both interior and exterior. Satellite radio and NAV system. My wife loves her Bluetooth.
Cons: GAS MILEAGE, high depreciation. UPDATE: Poor suspension design causing excessive and uneven tire wear.
The Bottom Line: UPDATE: The LR3 is a nice CAR - best suited for road use. The vehicle is overpriced and suffers from a very poor suspension design.
Review: Actually this is my wife's truck; I just wash it and put gas (LOTS O' GAS) in it. We have had our third Rover (the LR3) for about six months now and have absolutely no huge complaints. Our vehicle has been trouble free, only in for routine ...

Pros: Visibility, comfort, space
Cons: HORRIBLE TRANSMISSION, GAS HOG TO THE MAX, Brand that won't own up to transmission defects.
Review: Loved the car, design exceptional, the quality overall is impressive....THE TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS ON THIS CAR ARE PATHETIC. READ REVIEWS FROM LR3 OWNERS REGARDING TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS. THEY'RE ALL OVER NET FROM LR3 OWNERS, YET LAND ROVER DENIES THAT A ...
