Pros: Nice, refreshing songs with undeniable hooks, simple and fun
Cons: None that I have found
The Bottom Line: This little Canadian is going to go far. The lyrics are refreshing and simple and the songs are fun and catchy.
Review: Avril Lavigne. Its a name you better get familiar with. After taking off from her home town of Napanee, Ontario and eventually capturing the attention of record producer Antonio L.A. Reid, this new face in the crowd might have what it takes. With a...

Pros: Unique sound, range of different songs/moods, the music grows on you
Cons: After a while, some songs start to sound similar
The Bottom Line: Avril's new sounds are a welcome change from some genre's that are becoming a little stale. She's got music that's catchy, sad, angry, etc- a little bit of everything.
Review: The first time I saw Avril Lavigne, it in Spring 2002 as I was as I was flipping through the channels, pausing at MTV. Broadcasting TRL (Total Request Live) from the beach, a young girl was chatting with Carson Daily. I caught the end of...

Pros: Avril has the ability to make you feel what she's honestly feeling
Cons: tad overproduced
The Bottom Line: I really recommend buying this CD, I wasn't overly excited at first, but after my first listen...I fell in love.
Review: Say the name Avril Lavigne in a chat room and the responses are wild. The words punk, poseur, skater, and pop fly like, well, popcorn. Seventeen-year-old Avril (now 20) hails from Napanee, Ontario. Known for being the current rebel of pop ...

Pros: Great variety in style, excellent vocals
Cons: Couple mediocre songs
The Bottom Line: Pick this one up if you want intelligent music and a nice range of styles.
Review: Shes 17, very cute, a punk, and she has one of the smartest albums of the year. Let Go is Avril Lavignes freshman foray into Pop Alternative and she does a fantastic job of combining simple lyrics with a variety of styles. Her thirteen songs...

Pros: Catchy songs and lyrics; no real dud on the whole album.
Cons: Some of the tracks that have played on the radio get old after a while.
The Bottom Line: "Let Go" is an amazing debut. It will no doubt go down in the same history as "Jagged Little Pill", and we'll no doubt be hearing more from her.
Review: Either you like her or you hate her, but either way you can deny that Avril Lavigne has got some tal ...

Pros: DIFFERENT!, good mix of styles
Cons: some of the songs sound similar
The Bottom Line: Avril has broken off from mainstream to deliver a smashing album with great songs! Check it out if you hate pop!
Review: The first song says it all. Anything But Ordinary. That's what this CD, and Avril are. She has blended so many styles into something that is really really good, and i healthy break from pop princesses Britney and Christina.

Pros: Great voice, great tunes, great lyrics
Cons: none
The Bottom Line: One of the best CDs i've ever bought.
