SUPER SMOOTH

by   kanedl ,  Aug 12, 2003
Pros: Smooth, quiet ride, beautiful styling, good acceleration
Cons: Little backseat room, placement of cd changer, should have had xenon lights standard
The Bottom Line: If you want affordable luxury for low price with great resell value this is the car for you. Best way to describe is, SUPER SMOOTH!
Review: First of all, the name says it all, LEXUS. But this car is exactly what you would expect a Lexus to ...

Great car

by   shintajay ,  Oct 20, 2004
Pros: Ride, power, Looks
Cons: Cost, service cost
The Bottom Line: Just as good as the LS400 but not as expensive.
Review: This is my second es300, the first was a 1992. I got a used coach edition. I was thinking of the 2002 models but didn't like the new look. Decided on a good used one. This car ride like the LS 400 (I had a 1996 model), but doesn't use as much gas. ...

I love my Lexi! (Coach edition)

by   caurieanne ,  Nov 26, 2000
Pros: Elegant, dependable, safe, and fun to drive.
Cons: I find the climate control system a little confusing to operate and it is not independent.
Review: My Lexus ES 300 is like the perfect boyfriend: reliable, dependable, and hot!

I love this car. My fiance and I purchased it in 1999 after trading in his 1995 BMW 525i and like it 100% better. We have never had a problem with it, whereas with...

Lexus' Got Style!

by   chapol ,  Oct 2, 2004
Pros: One smooth, quiet riding machine, with classic style and a luxury interior.
Cons: Really can't think of any.
The Bottom Line: I think the Lexus' are an excellent value and give a lot of pleasure on our crowded roads.
Review: I bought my first Lexus, a 1999 model, in 2003 and I am enjoying that car more and more, the more I drive it. I have been driving Toyota's since 1986 and I can't think of buying anything else now. I drive Taurus's at work, and I'll discuss (or ...

Love this car

by   homell ,  Jul 20, 2001
Pros: A great luxury car for a great price. A very reliable car.
Cons: Lacking in some of the bells and whistles of other luxury cars.
The Bottom Line: If you want a fun luxury car to drive that doesn't cost you an arm and a leg, then you'll enjoy this car.
Review: I've had 2 Lexus ES 300 and have loved them both. I've owned both a Lincoln Continental and a Mercedes and believe this car drives and handles much better. I especially like the size-not too big and not too small. The leg room in the front is very...

Great car and Great Value

by   ThetaChiOX ,  Feb 7, 2000
Pros: Quality, Quiet, Ride, Comfort
Cons: Aging body style
Review: I leased a 99 ES300 because the monthly cost was far lower than other manufacturers offering near luxury cars with MSRP's between $35-38,000. The dealer (Prestige Lexus) was very helpful and very low pressure. I was equally impressed with all vehicles...

Great car

by   cubfanjl ,  Jun 19, 2001
Pros: It's almost perfect
Cons: Back seat a bit tight; maintenance could be pricey.
The Bottom Line: If you can find a significant problem with a Lexus, you probably have bigger problems.
Review: It's as quiet as a tomb - great ride, the Nakamichi stereo will make your ears ring if you like. Economy is good - I get 23 MPG combined. It has plenty of speed when you need it. The local service organization is excellent and I've heard others are the...

Kirit Raja

by   kirit_raja ,  Dec 29, 1999
Pros: Lots of luxury from Lexus at a very low price. Strong and smooth engine.
Cons: Model is not very attractive. Model of Toyota Camry is almost same but more attractive.
Review: I have driven Lexus ES 300 so many times. This car is a very good car available with lots of luxury at a very resonable price. You can enjoy the luxury of Lexus at low cost. If we don't consider the luxury, Toyota Camry is almost the same car as Lexus EX...

Great car, but pricey...Spring for an Avalon!

by   PenguinQX ,  Apr 29, 2000
Pros: The way a luxury car should be.
Cons: Small backseat. Price??
Review: At over $30,000, this car is not cheap. Essentially, it is a quieted Camry, with a tuned engine and suspension. However, the end product is a feel of luxury.

Backseat is cramped, especially for leg room.

Leather is soft and...

This is no Camry or Avalon - It's LEXUS Quality

by   jason_chris99 ,  Mar 12, 2001
Pros: Luxurious, comfy and well-padded interior, quietness, smooth acceleration
Cons: Funky, outdated remote key-entry control. Traction control too sensitive.
The Bottom Line: Great if buy NEW, Great if buy USED. If you want luxury with quality and performance, I recommend Lexus over BMW.
Review: I had driven Toyota cars for years, starting with the Corolla, then on to a sporty Celica and a 4-cylinder Camry. I also had the pleasure to ride in Acura and BMW.

When it was time for a new car about 2.5 years ago, I was looking at BMW...
