Pros: Smooth as silk tracking, perfect size, good software, outstanding price.
Cons: SetPoint software incompatible with anything but the Widcomm Bluetooth stack.
The Bottom Line: Outstanding if you use the Widcomm stack. If not, try it anyway and you will fall in love with it to the point of switching to the Widcomm stack.

UPDATE: 1/16/07 Just finished my first set of AA Duracell Coppertops. That's about five months since I bought the mouse. I don't use it everyday all day, but I do use it a few days every week ...

Logitech V270 beats MacAlly's Bluetooth offering on at least three points.

Pros: Great battery life, wakes on motion, uses AA cells, has on/off switch. And cheap!
Cons: I can only get a rebate on one. Till the next offer comes around, anyway.
The Bottom Line: While a few have problems with specific hardware platforms, this is an excellent mouse with all the features I have been looking for, and at a good price to boot.
Review: I have been using a Macally Bluetooth mouse for the past year or two, as it was the least-expensive mouse I could find that took AA batteries and didn't include a transmitter. However, "regular" capacity rechargeable NiMH batteries only lasted up to two ...

Pros: Responsiveness, size, portability, price, ease of use, universal battery size (not built-in).
Cons: none.
The Bottom Line: If you have bluetooth and need portability, buy it!
Review: When I bought my powerbook 2 years ago, I had to special order the bluetooth option, and there weren't many products on the market. By comparison, Apple's current bluetooth mouse is a little lacking: it's a single-button with no scroll wheel and is ...

Pros: Performance, Feel, Size
Cons: Slightly ugly, in my opinion.
Review: This is a great mouse, and I'm very picky about them. I usually have a collection of mouses just so I can use ones I like, for example at work. I use an IBM Thinkpad T42 w/ Windows XP. Registering the bluetooth mouse with it was no problem. I ...

Pros: Attractive, quality sensor, good battery life, nice buttons, perfect size, good build, carry case.
Cons: Heavy, no textured grip on the sides.
The Bottom Line: Perfect sized wireless notebook mouse, with great build, nice buttons, and a quality optical sensor. Weight and grip lets it down a bit.
Review: I had originally bought a BENQ M310 wireless optical mouse, cause my laptop at the time wasn't equipped with Bluetooth, and having a Bluetooth dongle sticking out the side of the laptop was just as annoying as the mouse wireless receiver. However, I ...

Pros: Compact but not too small, no dongle unless your PC doesn't have Bluetooth
Cons: Battery hog, tracking not as good as laser
The Bottom Line: A great notebook mouse that only gets four stars because it drains batteries and doesn't have a laser pickup.
Review: The V270 is a great size for a notebook mouse, feels comfortable in-hand without being too big or too small and packs in easily with your gear taking up little space in the process. Going unprotected in your gear bag will rub off the paint adorning the ...
