Pros: Very easy setup, works right out of the box.
Cons: Magellan has not provided a way to update the map software.
The Bottom Line: For the price, this is a nice GPS that is great for the
average driver planning a trip. It would probably not be suitable for someone like a taxi driver.
Review: We purchased the Magellan 360 from COSTCO last December 2005. I researched several other products and for the price and features, I felt that the Magellan 360 was the best buy for the money (price paid at COSTCO was $399). The COSTCO price was ...

Pros: 1. Easy use
2. Clear screen
3. Very easy to personalize options.
4. Fast set-up.
Cons: 1. Wish it had a battery.
2. It is distracting while you drive.
Review: Bought this for the wife. She loves it because it is just so easy to use. Mount, plug in, enter address and you are on your way. Easily stores in glove compartment when you don't need it. Under 1 minute to mount it again. You can't beat this at that ...

Pros: Small and easy to operate
Cons: There does not appear to be any way to update the maps, poor support.
Review: For the most part the 360 seems to operate as advertised but there are a lot of shortcomings. I have had many instances in which the system did not seem to have the data available, but when trying the same location with a different system it came right ...

Pros: Lightweight, easy to use
Cons: Requires township input instead of city sometimes
The Bottom Line: Not recommended since most people don't know city/township/zip code for everywhere they want to go - which may be needed to find some locations.
Review: Just like Mapquest can sometimes leave you stranded in an unfamiliar location, I found that the RoadMate 360 gave me some problems. I received this unit as a Christmas gift, which was a much more generous gift than I expected to receive. I almost ...

Pros: Sturdy piece of equipment, picks up signal pretty fast. Console and audio instructions clear.
Cons: Unable to recognize many city names and street names.
The Bottom Line: Not dependable
Review: Go buy a more expensive model, with better features. This one is just not dependable the design is faulty. I have faced lot of issues with this model - not technical ones though. It cannot recognize many town names, and has to know the township ...
