Pros: Well built, long hose, good assortment of attachments, run time up to 45 minutes.
Cons: Hard to fill, slow warmup, very loud, no cord or attachment storage, fairly slow cleaning.
The Bottom Line: Overall, this is a very good cleaner. It’s not for every day use, but for larger jobs – especially in the bathroom, it’s an excellent choice.
Review: I purchased the McCulloch about a month ago; it is my first steam cleaner purchase. One reviewer seems to feel that steam cleaners in general are useless; I don't agree. I find that it is good to excellent at many cleaning tasks. This cleaner gets ...

Pros: Well made; long (1 hour) cleaning time; variety of attachments; easy to use
Cons: Long (10-15) minute heat up time
The Bottom Line: A great steamer; well worth the purchase price.
Review: This is a FANTASTIC steam cleaner! Let us review some useful things to know so you can make an informed decision on whether to purchase. First of all, the MC1275 isn't a vacuum; it's a STEAMER. It doesn't suck anything up. Second, you'll need to ...

Pros: sanitizes as it cleans, replaces many household cleaners, variety of cleaning attachments
Cons: recommended using with distilled water, warm up and cooling off time
Review: I think this cleaner is excellent, at least for the purposes for which I purchased it. It cleans porcelain bathroom fixtures as good as anything and also does a good job on kitchen appliances, range, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, etc..It ...

Pros: Plenty of attachments, long hose, unit does not take up a bunch of space
Cons: Takes 8-10 minutes to warm up, well worth the wait!
Review: Just picked up yesterday. I bought it for my Mobile Auto Detailing business. First car I tried it out on was a 2006 BMW. The machine worked as advertised. Took coffee and soda stains right out, next challenge was the tar stains on the floor mats, guess ...

Pros: inexpensive, up to 60 minutes of continuous steam, many attachments
Cons: attachment brushes wear down quickly, must empty water tank after use
The Bottom Line: Cleaning up after my two large parrots is easy when I use the McCulloch Heavy Duty Steam Cleaner.
Review: There's nothing quite like scrubbing the cages of two large parrots on your day off. I spent hundreds of dollars in P

to try to make my life easier but it was impractical to use up a bottle in one use. ...

Steam cleaners are not very popular and there are good reasons for that.

Pros: May be useful for steaming wallpaper, toilet tank or a scummy shower stall.
Cons: Time-consuming and ineffective at cleaning autos. It certainly isn't a $1000 mechanic's steam cleaner.
The Bottom Line: I recommend you look for alternatives to steam cleaners. You can probably get by without one, especially if the one you buy doesn't work well anyway.
Review: In July 2003 I bought a steam cleaner. I admit that I should have been less gullible. My sister used it successfully for removing wallpaper, and it may be helpful for some cleaning jobs if you are willing to wipe the dirt up after it. It is basically ...
