I have just purchased my first wireless mouse, and a fine one at that!

Pros: Customizable features using included software on CD.
Cons: No carry pouch included. Be careful in properties menus with pull downs.
The Bottom Line: This mouse provides the smoothest, fastest scrolling. Excellent customizablitity although I like the default features just fine. This is a great mouse for multi-taskers.
Review: My days of mouse cord adjusting are over! I have just purchased my first wireless mouse, and a fine one at that! A laser mouse, ooooh, ahhhh. Wow, a mouse does all this, all that power in my right hand. I actually like the low click noise, although ...

Pros: Plug and Play
Cons: No Storage Case
The Bottom Line: Great Mouse to have in the house!
Review: Pre "Pet": Ahhhh, sweet luxurious life with a laptop; form, portability, function...fried fingertips... I received a saucy new laptop as a gift from my husband. Okay, it was probably supposed to be his, but I took it anyways. Having ...

Pros: Receiver stores in body of mouse if required, responds well.
Cons: Batteries don't seem to last all that long.
The Bottom Line: Works great attached to my desktop. Glad I added this one to my system.
Review: Sometimes I use products in a way other than the one the manufacturer intended. There, I've admitted it and can move on without all those feelings of guilt and shame. Microsoft's 6000 Laser mouse is one of the products I've used shamefully out of ...

Pros: Small, Scroll Wheel Tilts Horizontally also, Works on any Surface
Cons: Receiver might jut outwards too much (as a USB flash drive would)
The Bottom Line: This mouse combines small design, use on any surface (thanks to laser capabilities) and a great scroll wheel to compliment the perfect notebook experience.
Review: Microsofts Wireless Notebook Laser Mouse 6000 is a great mouse for any laptop user. Ever since their development, laser mice are becoming increasingly popular, and Microsoft has done an excellent job in designing the Laser Mouse 6000. The mouse ...

A Mouse With Nice Features, But Quirky Motion
by

Pros:
Sturdy. Great Scrollwheel Motion. 4th Button. Battery Life. Cons:
Middleclick. Not Completely Ambidextrous. Quirky Motion. Offset Sensor. The Bottom Line: Average mouse at best. Inexpensive, sturdy, great battery life and VERY comfortable, but strange motion, along with the fact that it is just a little too big hurt it.
Review: I have been on a quest for the perfect mouse. The Microsoft 6000 is not that mouse. But it is a good inexpensive option with some good features. I found at school that there were mice that had larger scrollwheels and no-click motion. This was a big ...

Pros: Smooth scroll wheel, flawless wireless
Cons: Is wearing out after less than two months, buttons hard to press
The Bottom Line: A great mouse when new, but didn't last long at all
Review: After two years or so my Logitech optical mouse was wearing out. The scroll didn't work reliably and the left button wasn't staying pressed during drag operations. So I replaced it with this Microsoft laser mouse. The Microsoft mouse comes with a ...

Disappointing performance

Pros: Cost (I got a good deal)
Cons: Responsiveness, signal strength, tilt/scroll wheel
The Bottom Line: Not recommended. There are better mice out there (think Logitech) for notebooks/traveling. Had I paid full price, I would be really upset.
Review: I bought this mouse to use exclusively when Im traveling for work. I have another Microsoft optical wireless mouse that I use when Im in the office or at home, and I like it, so I figured that maybe all Microsoft mice work equally as well. Well, not ...

It's Ok. There may be better options (optical?)

Pros: Very ergonomic, the mouse feels good. Nice materials are used.
Cons: The motion is sometimes erratic and imprecise.
The Bottom Line: I guess it's a good choice for a cheap mouse. But I can't help but wonder if an Optical mouse would be better. The movement just isn't reliably smooth.
Review: I purchased this wireless, laser mouse, from Office Max for $24.99 (that price includes an instant rebate). This was the least expensive wireless mouse available. The mouse was very easy to set-up. I found it to be truly plug-and-play. I removed ...

Pros: Battery life (so far), smooth wheel (good for some applications).
Cons: Odd pointer movement, stiff buttons, buttons too far apart, low mouse signal.
The Bottom Line: After a month of living with this mouse I'm still not comfortable with it. I don't recommend it.
Review: I have been using this mouse for a month. I bought this mouse because I like my Microsoft Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse (the two models look similar). This is the first mouse I have used with a laser. The new laser technology is supposed to be more ...

Erratic. Frequent low battery messages
by

|
Pros: Nice design, small body, very ergonomic
Cons: Erratic and unreliable. I do not recommend it.
Review: The mouse fits comfortably in my hand, with a nice look, easy transportation. The problem is that it sends low battery / low signal messages shortly after a new fresh alkaline battery was installed. The pointer is frequently erratic and even jumps from ...
