Pros: Buttons, configurability, design, USB or gameport
Cons: Wears out over time
Review: My dad recently got 2 Microsoft Sidewinder Precision Pro's for the price of one, and I was lucky enough to get the one he didn't use. I normally would have thought a joystick wasn't really any good for playing games, but I was seriously wrong. Without...

Pros: Precise, usb compatible, egornomical design that molds to your hands
Cons: not perfect for lefties.
The Bottom Line: If you wan't to get the most kills and action out of a game, then you gotta try this stick out. Kiss those wimpy sticks goodbye.
Review: I need a joystick at my computer at my dads house for playing some of my favorite games, so I use his Microsoft Precision Pro. This joystick is great for all the buttons and features it has. I really enjoy this joystick.

Pros: Amazing precision, no drift, excellent features
Cons: A little pricey, some systems don't like it
The Bottom Line: The Sidewinder Pro is comfortable, accurate, smooth, driftless, and full featured; a true improvement to any flight game.
Review: I hate Microsoft. I hate their operating systems, I hate (most) of their programs, and I hate their technical support. They don't think through their documentation, they make sure that everything that works well must be customized to do so and that...

Pros: Comfortable feel, easily customizable, precise motion, USB ease
Cons: Bulky base, overly sensitive hat switch
Review: To get the best use of this, you'll need to connect it to your USB port, and if you don't have a USB port, get one... Hot-swappable capability simply rules.
Optical tracking = no calibration = quick game starts. I always hated having to... |

Pros: Lotsa cool buttons, precise feel, LOTSA COOL BUTTONS!
Cons: Not recommended for sports games. Microsoft..argh!
Review: The Microsoft Sidewinder Precision Pro brings a whole new dimension to flying games. I purchased this joystick so I could play Microsoft's Combat Flight Simulator (which I also highly recommend! Maybe I'll write a review later.) I also use it for Star...

Pros: Comfortable, Accurate, Programmable
Cons: Throttle Wheel issue, Programming Interface could use a print function
The Bottom Line: A great stick that I would recommend to anyone looking for a high end joystick.
Review: When many people think about Microsoft, they cringe as images of Illegal Operations and General Protection Faults come to mind, as well as the recent anti-trust lawsuit. Many people out there believe that all Microsoft Products are evil, and refuse to...

Pros: Excellent grip and control!
Cons: Yet to be determined.
The Bottom Line: I would recommend buying this joystick since it will last a long time and improve your chances at winning your games.
Review: When I bought this Microsoft Sidewinder Joystick, I was excited to try it out since I had heard great reviews about it. My old joystick was a cheap $10 joystick and never did the job since it failed to stay aligned. So when I purchased Microsoft Flight...

Pros: sleek, inexpensive, high quality, easy to use, many functions, USB compatable
Cons: none found yet.
Review: I bought the Microsoft Sidewinder Precision Pro because it was inexpensive ($55) but, also a great joystick with tons of buttons and functions. This is a joystick that would appeal to a "flight simmer" such as me. I program the 9 buttons to...

Pros: Rudder control, durable
Cons: We are microsoft....resistance is futile...
Review: When I look for a joystick, I want something that'll play more than space invaders. Then again, I'm also on a limited budget. I can't afford to spend $200 on a joystick-throttle-rudder pedals combo. Thats why the precision pro is so great.

|
Pros: works well, ease of set up and installation
Cons: none
Review: The Microsoft Sidewinder Precision Pro joystick is a great affordable joystick. It is a great compromise between much more expensive units, and those cheap units that are poorly made and lacking in programmable buttons. There are plenty of options for...
