RPGage has never been better

by   phragmatic ,  Mar 10, 2000
Pros: Wonderous music, great graphics, perfect story, long playtime.
Cons: Slightly hard to get hardware support.
Review: You wait, hiding in the bushes, then, he sees you. Red, glowing eyes, and a club in his hand, he lunges at you, in hopes of taking your belongings!

You pummel the goblin into the ground, and turn the tables upon him. This is much like Might...

MM7 - An excellent game!

by   Tsilva25 ,  Apr 11, 2000
Pros: Excellent interface, storyline, gameplay
Cons: Skills system makes progress difficult
Review: I have played all other M&M games and I did enjoy M&M7 quite a bit. It was a vast improvement over Might and Magic VI in playability. All keyboard controls were re-assignable, and several options were added to enhance game play, such as the...

Skill and Strategy- A Roleplaying dream

by   Snappy83188 ,  Jun 12, 2000
Pros: Plot, graphics, party, history, quests, skills, people, letters, sides, wars etc. etc. etc.!
Cons: I'm still thinking
Review: The 3DO game Might and Magic VII (MM7) is definitely one of the best and most well thought out role-playing games. It starts out with an extremely interesting and confusing beginning (Usually a bad thing, but not in this case) that makes you want to...

Oh my God, they killed Jaxor, you Bastards

by   Pyre ,  May 27, 2000
Pros: Great ideas, versatile
Cons: Kinda grainy graphics
Review: This game is the best RPG that I have ever played, it is the most addictive game that I have ever tried, no wonder 3do has been drawing out this series, they are some of the most fun that some people have ever had. The characters can evolve in many...

Not just a game for guys!

by   RosalynM ,  Jul 19, 2000
Pros: Monsters and People are smarter
Cons: Need to keep lots of saves
Review: The thing I like most about the Might & Magic series is that it's not just for guys. You don't have to have the very best hand/eye coordination to win. You can pick male and female members of your party, and they all advance in levels together!

M&M VII: fFor Blood and Honor

by   Maizi ,  Jan 25, 2000
Pros: Quests, Choices, and variety
Cons: Some things are just too predictable.
Review: The game is quite diverse. It covers many different races, and classes. The possible team combinations truly are endless. Each character has special abilities, making it a requirement to get involved with NPC's more. From the precesor, Might & Magic...

History repeats itself

by   NetDanzr , top reviewer in Games at Epinions.com ,  Jun 8, 2000
Pros: Great story, character development, monster roster and Acromage.
Cons: Old graphics, very poor soundtrack.
Review: A note to everybody who was disappointed with this game - had you played all the games in the series, you would have known what to expect. You would have known that Might and Magic comes in trilogies, which use the same engine. That means that the...

Might and Magic 7, worth a good look.

by   caillin ,  Mar 12, 2001
Pros: Fantastic fantasy game, with the enjoyment of a first person game.
Cons: Could of had better graphics.
The Bottom Line: If you want a first person fantasy adventure that will keep you occupied for a month or so then Might and Magic 7 is for you.
Review: I first received this game for my birthday. Being quite unfamiliar with this type of game I was amazed on how much I enjoyed it. It is a first person game but maintains all the usual fantasy elements. The one thing I enjoyed the most about Might and...

Yet again, the same thing

by   Polydwarf ,  Mar 7, 2000
Pros: Pretty graphics.
Cons: Repetitive
Review: The Might and Magic series seems to go in evolutions.. The first ones used the same basic premise (Think Bard's Tale/Wizardry interface), even though it got considerably prettier as the series progressed. Then they switched to a more 3-D interface, with...

Worth it if only for the music!

by   dantessa ,  Mar 3, 2000
Pros: great soundtrack, some entertaining bits
Cons: occasionally slow, sometimes very predictable
Review: To be quite honest, I only purchased this game for the soundtrack. Watching my friend play it from my chin's perch upon his shoulder, I saw a good portion of the game before I even bought it. So I knew what I was getting into: a typical fantasy RPG game...
