Cell phone charging, bass bumping and built to last

by   sequimelectric ,  Aug 5, 2006
Pros: Best sound quality. Sound input. 12v outlet. sturdy!
Cons: Does not charge batteries, nearby batteries charging cause FM static
The Bottom Line: I have it and wouldnt rather have any other radio. I use it everyday. It would be nice to have a battery charger in it.
Review: I got this radio for christmas of '05 I have been very happy with it for many reasons. First of all the sound quality is superb and I have witnessed side by side sound comparisons with other brands of jobsite radios, such as... The dewalt and bosch ...

Best Jobsite Radio Around...

by   tommer45 ,  Feb 15, 2007
Pros: Can be dropped from a ladder, Lots of programmable presets, Nearly unbreakable antenna.
Cons: No CD player, The color clashes with my blue work shirts!
The Bottom Line: Another great product from Milwaukee. Sure you can buy other jobsite radios... buy why would you?
Review: I've had this radio for a few years now, and I've never had any problems with it. I can get reception anywhere and the antenna is a nifty, bendable hard rubber that won't break. Another nice feature is that the power cord has both male and female ends. ...

Indestructible, and sounds great

by   rjbaumgartner ,  Jan 4, 2004
Pros: sturdy, good sound, smart design separate clock/memory battery
Cons: no CD player does not charge the battery
Review: This radio is extremely rugged, has good reception, and sounds pretty darned good for a portable (Rockford Fosgate speakers). The 12V charger comes in handy for cell phone charging, and the integrated variable-volt battery power lasts a good amount of ...

Pros: pure sound
Cons: no cd player
Review: I've already heard the Bosch and the Dewalt radios. A friend of mine brought in a Milwaukee. After a few days I realized I was hearing pure pleasure. This radio sounds great turned up especially if you are standing away from it. The sound carries ...

Superior Reception

by   uponroof ,  Oct 18, 2008
Pros: Rugged, plug has outlet on backside, NO DRIFTING
Cons: Likely to be stolen by those who realize it's qualities
Review: No drifting, very clear reception. It seems this radio has some sort of insulated design which enhances reception. No drifting. No directional compromising (you don't have to turn the radio or touch objects against the antenna to improve reception). The ...

Milwaukee's "Job Site Radio "

by   kramnnim ,  Jun 8, 2003
Pros: Great sound, digital tuning, quality construction. Looks good, too.
Cons: A battery charger would be nice. Reception could be better.
The Bottom Line: If you need a quality radio for a rigorous environment, look no further.
Review: I work on a small construction crew, and this past winter we did a lot of indoor remodeling and painting. Most of us on the crew enjoy listening to music, or even the news, so I talked the boss in to buying this Milwaukee radio.
