Passable, But Being Merely So Should Never Be in the Nature of this Sista'!

Pros: Latifah is still growing and being experimental; sharpened battle raps; beats nice as ever

Cons: She tries too much and has yet to develop other strengths; quite an unmemorable record

The Bottom Line: A sophomore slump yet still solid, Nature of a Sista' is an acceptable offering from Queen Latifah, even if she is capable of (and has delivered) much more
