Pros: It was so easy to set up and use!
Cons: None yet.
The Bottom Line: Its the easiest and simplest router I've ever installed! I was up and running, able to use the wireles signal in 15 minutes. No problems!
Review: All I needed was a wireless zone in my office. I have comcast cable at my office for my internet connection, and on many occasions my son comes with me to do his homework. He has a MacBook with an airport express wireless connection. My ...

Pros: simple installation, great performance, reliability, easy network configuration with good help text
Cons: none
The Bottom Line: You can literally plug this in and forget about it. It's that simple to install, and you don't have to touch it unless you want to lock down your network.
Review: I bought this router about 3 months ago and love it. The technology itself is amazing, and NetGear has made it simple to use. It's great to be able to wander around the house with my laptop and maintain a constant connection. I can even sit outside on ...

Pros: Actually holds a connection! As if that were too much to ask of a router
Cons: Something that may affect you in the future--it's not Wi-Fi certified.
The Bottom Line: Unlike the 3 other brands I mention, it works!! Actually holds a connection and doesn't require power cycles!!
Review: My saga started when I was about to move in with a friend, who was not keen on my running wires throughout her house so that we could both share Comcast high-speed cable. I figured, no problem, I'll just go wireless--the technology is pretty cheap these ...

Pros: Ease of use
Nice look
Documentation is easy to read
Cons: Wireless card doesn't come with it in a bundle
The Bottom Line: Great router for a quick home network. Made with the home/multiple computer user in mind
Review: This product is for anyone a intermediate amount of computer knowledge. If you can type an address into your browser, then you can get this router to work. Out of the box, it is neat to look at... silver, slim, with a nice little stand for it, that's ...

Pros: Easy, cheap, good performance.
Cons: None, so far.
The Bottom Line: Easy, cheap, and good performance. I'd recommend this to almost anyone.
Review: Okay, so I'm an experienced enterprise class network engineer. So I have a slight advantage in this category that tends to make me think all of these are really easy to setup. But seriously, I've bought LOTS of enterprise class wireless APs, and a few ...

Pros: Speed, ease of set up, price (after rebates)
Cons: None yet
The Bottom Line: If you follow the instructions, get the latest version of the router (v6), this is a great "G" router for the home.
Review: Background When looking to replace my older Netgear 802.11b wireless router, I couldn't find ONE router with generally good reviews. They seemed to be all over the map - some people loved it - others hated it. Since I had good luck with my original ...

Pros: Effortless setup, high security, easy to understand
Cons: So far none
The Bottom Line:
This router was simple to set up and has worked perfectly. The speed is excellent and it supports all levels of security. Review: I purchased the NetGear WGR614 Wireless Router after fighting with another router for a day without success. I was fed up - this is not rocket science and a wireless router should not be difficult.I picked this router up at Wallmart, brought it ...

Cons: Your settings are not saved when you update the flash. Does not make coffee.
The Bottom Line: The Netgear WGR614 is easy to install, performs very well, and most importantly, operates reliably over time. I definitely recommend it.
Review: I'm sure you've all read it before... "I never used to write reviews for products but I just had to share my opinion about this one." Well, that's what happened to me with this product. I have cable Internet, video editing equipment, and CD and DVD ...

Pros: Automatic cable/DSL detect, fast connections, web based config with detailed directions
Cons: Only one antenna on unit
The Bottom Line: Good choice for wireless home and business networks, with the ability to grow to meet future network services like hosting, email, ftp, etc. Simple setup, configuration and operation.
Review: After using Netgear switches and routers in the past, I decided to upgrade to the Netgear wireless router. I purchased the "white" router, not to be confused with an OEM version. This is the full retail version, but labeled WGR614 v5 in white case vs. ...
