Pros: VR, low cost ($200), great IQ all around

Cons: F5.6, rotating front element during focus, no manual focus override

The Bottom Line: *The* budget lens to get. The upcoming Nikon 16-85 VR will be of similar or worse IQ. Go for the 18-200 VR if range is what you want.
