Gameboy Advance: The Latest Advancement In Portable Gaming (The Nintendo Write-Off) |
|||
|
Pros: Great Library of Games, Top Notch Titles Coming In The Future
Cons: Screen Scratches too Easily and Is Hard To Look At, Not Enough Buttons
The Bottom Line: Introducing To You... The Ultimate Handheld Console.
Review: If you know Nintendo then you'll know that they have dominated the handheld market for well over 11 years; the Gameboy handheld has faced off against many superior handhelds like the Game Gear and Atari Lynx, but for some reason or another the horrible...

The Gameboy Advance System: A Playground for Old School Gamers |
|||
|
Pros: Small, light, powerful, cheap, backwards compatibility, good quality game library
Cons: flimsy parts, dark screen, not pocket size (for most people), needs more buttons
The Bottom Line: The Gameboy advance great system that will stand the test of time. It's a great investment for any gamer.
Review: Behind The Times I am not your average cutting edge gamer. I usually don't run out to my local electronics store and buy the latest and greatest things. Like many people like me, I have a limited budget to work with and quality matters. I've bee ...

Pros: New larger color screen, better sound
Cons: limited battery life
The Bottom Line: Great little gaming system, perfect for long trips as long as you bring plenty of batteries.
Review: Ever since my kids were given their first hand held gaming system for Christmas, they have been addicted to it. When their grandparents found out that they wanted one for Christmas they just had to send them one each. The hand held game system I am...

Cons: Nintendo's CEO won't let Square port to GBA if they don't program for GameCube.
The Bottom Line: It takes something amazing to really peak my interest before it comes out. Just the launch games and backward compatibility warrant the purchase.
Review: Let me say this before anything else. I am not one to be taken in by hype. More often than not, if I make the decision to buy a game or system on the day it comes out, it has got to be something totally special. The Legend of Zelda:The Ocarina of...

Pros: Great graphics/sound for its size. Excellent library of games already, and more to come. Backwards-compatible.
Cons: Backlighting is dim, requiring either a light accessory, or that you play at a store.
The Bottom Line: If this review doesnt sway you into purchasing a Game Boy Advance, youre a mummified crotch-muffin.
Review: Welcome to Annexation and FraggleMoms brainchild, the Lexiphiliac write-off. In their own words, it is "A spectacular event that will determine who Epinions' sickest mofos truly are." We are basically required to review a product...

Pros: Nice design, easy operation, volume control, full color screen capabilities.
Cons: Can consume batteries in record numbers, light issues, surface dirt.
The Bottom Line: The GBA might not be on the cutting edge of technology but it's a well made unit that's sturdy, plays GBA and GameBoy games and...awe just read the review!
Review: After being a huge fan of the GameBoy Color when Nintendo announced that they were going to release a new console I couldn't wait to get my hands on it. When Toys 'R Us got them in stock I wasn't one of the first people in line to get one so I ...

Pros: Lightweight, plays all Gameboy games, long battery life, comes in many colors.
Cons: You need a good source of light to fully see what is going on.
The Bottom Line: Great machine, not many games out yet but it plays all the old ones, lightweight, links to other Gameboy Advances.
Review: OK, so you've played the Game Boy, the Game Boy Color, and maybe even that Sega handheld thing. They do not compare to the power of the Gameboy Advance. It is more powerful than the SNES but you can fit it in the palm of your hand. It comes in a...

An advance for Nintendo's greatest hardware! |
|||
|
Pros: More colors, sharper images, 3D handheld style, and longer gameplay!
Cons: No backlighting for games.
The Bottom Line: It's the best GameBoy revision yet. I suggest this hardware for anyone who doesn't already own a Game Boy, and is looking for some four player fun on the go.
Review: In 1989, Nintendo released something tiny, entertaining, and true to its future as the handheld that would crush the competition. The original Game Boy beat the market up with a Tetris whooping here and there. As time moved on, Nintendo, unlike its...

Pros: Great gameplay for relatively inexpensive games, games for all ages and genre's, backwards compatability
Cons: Large and childish looking, no lighted screen, screen scratches very easy
The Bottom Line: Use caution when buying this product for children, but by all means purchase a GBA since it is the best handheld on the market!
Review: The gameboy advance has to be the best console out there, it has sold millions upon millions of units in every country it has been released in. With its relatively inexpensive games, extremely involved gameplay, and tons of rpg's on the system, this is ...
