Nintendo NES: - It's The Nintendo Entertainment System And It's Really Rad |
|||
|
Pros: Accessories, Some of the Best Games Ever, Classic
Cons: Controller, Blowing Into The Console, Not Being Manufactured Anymore
The Bottom Line: If you know what the Powerglove is, or have seen the movie "The Wizard" than you rock.
Review: The 80s is a decade that everyone has a story about. Looking back on the vague memories I have of it, everything seemed so different. If I had any wish in the world I think I would wish to have been born 10 years earlier just so I could experience this ...

Nintendo: My Real Introduction to Video Games

Pros: Graphics at the time, Great Games, Works Most of the Time, Controllers
Cons: Sometimes non-cooperative, old
The Bottom Line: I love the NES console, as it has a lot of games, and is fun to play. Its a family oriented video game system.
Review: My family's first video game system, was the Magnavox Odyssey, which my father purchased sometime in the early 1980's. I still remember playing the bowling game with him, that alternated between blue and green screens, depending on which players ...

Pros: The Nes2 not only looks cool but it plays well too.
Cons: It's a shame the video outlets are gone.
The Bottom Line: It may be a tough find but the Nes2 is definitely worth tracking down.
Review: Almost every gamer out there knows about the insanely popular Nintendo Entertainment System, eh? I still say it is one of the best gaming consoles ever made and on August 8, 2006 I managed to do the impossible and find every licensed Nintendo ever made ...

Pros: Great exclusive games; fun and simple gaming; the top loader is a durable system
Cons: The common front loader is troublesome; a lot of terrible games
The Bottom Line: Perhaps the only early console more significant than the Atari 2600 is the NES, a great system from the 1980s that remains popular.
Review: Those folks over at Nintendo sure knew what they were doing when they released the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) to the U.S. in 1985. This console showed up at just the right time as the video game market was still reeling from the crash of 1984, ...

Pros: a lot of classic games
Cons: got to kick box it to get it to work.
The Bottom Line: The Nintendo WI: probably the craziest name for a console
Review: All right if there is one thing I cant stand is young kids today running down the NES. Yes your PS2s and your Xboxs may be more powerful and run all those fancy movie scenes and realistic graphics, something that the NES doesnt but if it wasnt for ...

Pros: NES. actually came with two games a zapper and two controllers for 120 dollars.
Cons: Forty-five dollars for a game in the eighties.
The Bottom Line: For the timeframe Nintendo was great. None could seem to do better in sales.THe eight bit titles and system can still be bought and are cheap.
Review: Some of the readers may scoff at the Nintendo eight bit system. The Nintendo 8 bit system however was a big step for its' time. Just think of one of it's forerunners the Atari. Many of the Atari games were made up of oversized squares and dots. Not many A ...

Pros: Fun for everyone, cheap games, brings back those days of long ago!
Cons: Sometimes you need to wrestle with the games to get them to play.
The Bottom Line: Still the most fun game system out there. Classics like Mario, Contra, Zelda, Metroid, Donky Kong, and Excitebike come back to life!
Review: You can be sure that the NES is still played almost every weekend by my friends and me. We all grew up on this wonderful machine, and have no intentions of letting it pass. While the performance of the NES is getting worse, just a blow on the cartridge ...

Pros: Good system with classic games
Cons: Had to blow on games and console when not working
The Bottom Line: I would get it, this system is a classic
Review: I probably received this as a gift in the early nineties, but I still play it. I believe that a lot more went into this console as far as games strategy, game plot, game characters and game skill. The only thing that was bad about it was that when the ...

Pros: Fun factor, games.
Cons: Age, hardware, more buttons on the controller might be nice.
The Bottom Line: Fun system, nostalgic factor, games, and price (go to yard sales).
Review: So this is my review on the Nintendo NES, the system that has stood the test of time, led the industry for video games, and... collected dust. Anyway, I got mine at a yard sale for $2.50 w/ Tetris 2 for SNES. (NES was basically $2.) $2?! Yes. It was ...

Pros: Everything
Cons: RF adaptors suck IMO, connectors wear out
Review: It may be old and the graphics/sound may be dated, but I still use it alot. I love that every game is very different yet very fun for this system. I've played Super Mario Brothers a ton... It's still fun even though I finally beat it. The multi-player ...
