Sweet Ride

by   lordnyghthawk ,  Jun 11, 2008
Pros: Comfortable ride, elec dash, highly reliable, quick and fast.
Cons: Very expensive parts, many dealer only items for original replacement.
The Bottom Line: If I had to do it again, I would. This machine was quality from the word go.I'm not usually one for Japanese cars. Fast, quick, reliable, and fun.
Review: I bought an '88 Turbo 2-seater model in Feb of '07. Overall, my experience with this car was good (I plan on doing a slightly modified resto of it). Unfortunately, the previous owner decided an expensive stereo and rims were better than actually having ...

1988 Nissan 300zx NA

by   jor0429 ,  Jan 13, 2005
Pros: torque, design, driver features, reliability, handling, fun
Cons: Cost to repair special model parts, customizing parts are hard to find.
The Bottom Line: Lots of features and reliable if not outright abused. Great design and fun to drive, especially with the T-tops removed.
Review: Out of High School, I had planned to save some money and purchase a used sports car that I could enjoy and possibly customize. My father is a "Z" car collector and growing up seeing these types of cars persuaded me to look into that direction with my car ...

1988 NISSAN 300ZX I LUV U

by   cheryl_grams ,  Sep 29, 2000
Pros: Unbelievable Customer Service
Cons: NONE
Review: I purchased my 1988 Nissan 300ZX because it was in incredible condition for a 12 year old car. I had been looking for a "fun" car for a long time. I had it for 6 months and the fuel injectors went bad. I took it in for service the service...

My FairLady

by   starboyzftp ,  Feb 15, 2006
Pros: Torquey V6, impressive interior, sweet V6 bellow, classic good looks
Cons: Technofest dash, frustrating climate controls, could stand to lose some weight ,over heavy steering
The Bottom Line: A car that is part of Nissan's Z heritage, but maybe not the greatest part.
Review: Nissan Fairlady. It's a name that has a long heritage behind it and ,perhaps unsurprisingly, is a name that car enthusiasts immediately recognize. My roommate just recently bought a 1988 300ZX (non-turbo), and being the one who advised him on it I ...
