One of the finest box sets out there

Pros: Great overview of top notch stuff from most of the great bands of the era.
Cons: No Sex Pistols?
The Bottom Line: Proof that punk singles were all about adventure, going against convention and having a hell of a good time.
Review: It's hard to imagine now, but there was a time when genres were fueled by singles in that individual songs were more than something to convince people to purchase entire albums. Punk was certainly fueled by singles, and Rhino's No Thanks! The '70s ...

The Ultimate Retro Punk Bible....Up Yours!

Pros: 100 definitive 1970s punk songs that defined a generation.
Cons: John Lydon refused to hand over any Sex Pistols tracks, but forget it.
The Bottom Line: This is where alternative rock began: with 1970s punk rock. Anyone who calls Good Charlotte punk must listen to these songs and learn how it's really done.
