Pros: This album is, quite simply, the best of the best.
Cons: None. This album sums up the all too perfect lifetime collection of a genius.
The Bottom Line: An excellent commemoration to the KING of pop.
Review: We all remember the days when Michael Jackson was the greatest phenomenon since sliced bread. We all remember watching him dance his way to fame on the Ed Sullivan Show, and there are very few who weren't awe-struck by his amazing 6-year-old vocal ...

Pros: Get one song from each CD he ever took out.
Cons: Songs end too soon.
Review: Despite all the molestation charges, Michael Jackson manages to bring his new CD Number Ones-Michael Jackson to number one in just a few short days. The CD is great. It includes the songs, Billie Jean, Earth Song, You are not alone, You rock my world, ...

Michael Jackson's Number Ones: One More Chance
by

|
Pros: Good mix of MJ's stuff
Cons: Only one new song
The Bottom Line: It's a solid purchase, but if you have everything, there's only one new song.
Review: I would be labeled a Michael Jackson fan boy if I didn't bring up the new child abuse allegations. However, since he is not yet guilty, and may not be guilty, we'll stop there. Let's get to the good stuff. Michael Jackson's latest album which is his ...

Shamon and buy this, casual MJ fans!

Pros: It's MJ! Shamon!!
Cons: Some stuff is missing, and there's a few cheesy ballads.
The Bottom Line: All things aside, MJ made some of the best pop around. And you'll find (almost) all of it on this disc.
Review: When it comes to Michael Jackson, I've come to realize that I'm in a small minority. For those of you who are with me, you are not alone. (No pun intended... seriously.) And let me make it very clear to those who aren't: There are people don't care ...

Watching Artistry Turn Into Spectacle: Michael Jackson's "Number Ones" |
|||
|
Pros: Some of the best pop music of the past 25 years.
Cons: His celebrity grew, and the music got worse.
The Bottom Line: "Number Ones" is only essential if you are a MJ completist. If not, there are plenty of other albums to satisfy your fix.
Review: You know, I'm gonna try to do the impossible here. I'm gonna try to write a review of a Michael Jackson album that focuses on the music as opposed to the public spectacle that Michael has becone nowadays. Michael Joseph Jackson was born in Gary ...

"Michael, you can't attack racism if you don't pick a race first!" |
|||
|
Pros: "Rock With You", "Smooth Criminal", "Don't Stop Till You Get Enough".
Cons: The mawkish muck of "Ben", "You Are Not Alone" and "Earth Song".
The Bottom Line: Just buy Off The Wall and Thriller and you'll have all the Michael Jackson you'll need.
Review: Yeah yeah yeah I know. What else is there to say about Michael Jackson except to echo that Robin Williams quote above? Of course, we could easily discuss the recent events at Neverland Ranch. But that's not what this review is supposed to be about. We ...

Contractual Obligation

Pros: Excellent music. Some of the finest pop music of the last hundred years.
Cons: This thing is a pathetic contractual obligation. See my review for the full rant.
The Bottom Line: Steer clear of this one unless you're a casual fan after a one-time greatest-hits purchase, in which case this is perfect for you.
Review: As I begin to write this Epinion, I still don't know whether to give this a one or five star rating. On one hand, this disc contains some of the finest pop music of the 20th century. The entire disc is full of classic tracks. If you're going to buy this ...

Back When Michael Jackson Made Good Music

Pros: Includes some classic MJ songs, but...
Cons: the CD's missing a lot of hits, and adds some that are NOT hits!
The Bottom Line: This is an OK collection of Michael's songs, but if you really want the greatest hits, I recommend HIStory, Volume One.
Review: Michael Jackson is arguably one of the most talented, and famous artists of the 20th century. His album, Thriller is one of the best selling albums of all times- with the disc certified 26 times platinum. He reigned as King Of Pop for ...

Let This One Rot

Pros: None
Cons: Read my review
The Bottom Line: I think that my review says enough, and in case you missed it, buy 'Off The Wall' and 'Thriller' if you need them, but let this one rot.
Review: Hard though it is to remember that far back, Michael Jackson used to be famous for making great pop music. He didn't need to let reporters follow him around so that we could see how normal he is. He didn't need to make his own documentaries to show how ...
