by   galileo365 ,  May 15, 2000
Pros: Durable, reliable and a great ride through the years
Cons: road salt kills!
Review: Yes, I live the good life! I own 2 cars. Not that they're like really good, but I always figured that two crappy cars equal one good one anyway!
This car which is an 84 Cutlass Ciera has been in my family since it was new. My parents bought it....

Actually, it was my Father's Torquemobile

by   kimchipig ,  Jun 12, 2004
Pros: Fantastic drivetrain, roomy, quality build.
Cons: Secondary controls a long reach.
The Bottom Line: If you can find a clean used one and need a good, reliable car, buy it, especially if it is a 3.3 litre.
Review: Perhaps some of you read my review of my other car, my 1989 Dodge Grand Caravan. Well, Dad had another car, also left to me upon his death, a 1990 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera SL. Dad loved his cars and kept them for years. He always carefully researched ...

by   susie_q17 ,  Sep 21, 2002
Pros: Power, Reliability, Comfort, Lots of Options
Cons: Older body style, engine/dash noises
The Bottom Line: This is an excellent car for just about anyone; it will last a long time if you treat it well.
Review: I acquired this car from my parents after I turned 16 and got a license. It had over 160k miles on it at that time. It is now 3 years later and I still have the car and it is running great. (Planning a party for when it hits 200k soon). I have had no...

1993 Olds Ciera is the Greatest!

by   cathlenew ,  Jan 20, 2000
Pros: Luxury and comfort - runs well also!
Cons: None
Review: When looking for an automobile back in 1996, there were certain items that had to take priority for us to make a purchase decision. We wanted a new car but the prices were prohibitive for the comfort that we also required. We decided that a newer used...

One Good Car

by   camkind ,  Apr 28, 2000
Pros: Reliability, Smooth Quiet Ride, Roomy
Cons: Conservative Styling
Review: I got my 1992 Cutlass Ciera from my grandmother in November 1999 because she decided to quit driving for health reasons. I had driven it before, and I was very happy to become the car's owner, as well as receiving my first car.

I am...

Reliable...really

by   Emy13 ,  May 31, 2000
Pros: Great ride, reliable
Cons: A bit tight on space for some folks
Review: Let me first say that I love this car. It has been in my family since we purchased it in 1997 and was recently passed down to me. As a college student in northern Minnesota, I drive around ten hours each way on trips home, but the car never gets...

The best car I've owned

by   kisswoman ,  Jan 12, 2000
Pros: Great Car
Cons: Bigger than I'm used to
Review: I recently purchased this car from a private owner who really took great care of this car. It has great handling and even though it is a pretty big car it is easy to drive, even for a short person like myself. I am really impressed and surprised that...

Great Car

by   A_L_I_C_I_A18 ,  Dec 22, 1999
Pros: cutlass
Cons: cutlass ciera
Review: I own a cutlass and I love it, I bought it because it looked good and the price was great, it's a little older but in really good condition. I have had my cutlass for over a year now and all I had to do is change my oil and that's all. I have not had one...

1986 Cutlass Ciera

by   etoc ,  May 16, 2002
Pros: Smooth ride, excellent on gas
Cons: seats don't recline
The Bottom Line: Wonderful car. My Dad got more than it's value worth and now we have too. Too bad it is no longer made.
Review: I inherited our Cutlass (4 cylinder) from my Dad. We have had it three years and I have to tell you it's a phenomenal car. My Dad took excellent care of it as do we, but besides that we've noticed:
Its great on gas consumption
Very smooth ride...

Alright Car

by   GregoryDavid ,  Dec 4, 1999
Pros: Reliable and long lasting, good pick up and go, good steering
Cons: Air conditioner failures and some electrical problems
Review: I owned a Cutlass for five years after a five year period of being owned by parents. It was my first car and for the longest time I didn't think I would drive anything else. The car isn't a sports car and can't go above 90 MPH but it has really good...
