Pros: Capabilities, great features, battery duration, Web Access, Built-in Digital camera and installed memory
Cons: Rebooting and notifying
The Bottom Line: The new Treo 680 is what you need to be on the road. Its features are great and one of a kind tech wonder.
Review: If you are like me, then you may have secretly placed the PDA/Cell Phone on your wishlist this year. After all, it is a technological wonder. The Palm Treo 680 Smartphone comes equipped with so many little gadgets that will awe you. I know I have been ...

Pros: All in one, and it works for me.
Cons: Battery life.
The Bottom Line: If you need Palm OS, you can make this phone work nicely for you. If you don't need Palm OS, maybe Nokia, Blackberry or iPhone is a better choice.
Review: I'm writing this review because I think the Treo 680 has been unfairly judged by some with little or no Palm OS background. Imagine a Toyota Camry driver assessing old Jaguar autos. You can imagine them shaking their heads and saying "Unreliable." ...

Pros: Easy to use, Great calendar, video camera
Cons: Not easy to download ringtones
The Bottom Line: I love my Treo and would buy it over and over again if I needed to.
Review: Being a busy mom on the go, I needed a calendar to keep me in order and a way to organize my lists and everyday life. I don't usually carry a big purse, so I wanted all of this in a phone so I didn't have to carry a lot of stuff. I decided on the ...

Treo 680, Worth the Change?

Pros: Lots of third party applications, better audio and great memory space.
Cons: Battery life could be better. Cheap frontal face material which cracks with no abuse
Review: As a 650 user I decided to make the change. The 650 had many issues, like constant rebooting and all the other complaints many users had. Physically the 680 is very nice, ironically it is not as good as the 650 for one handed operation. My 680 has not ...

Pros: Size, weight, OS. Call log. 4 gig SD and 64 MB memory. P-Tunes basic.
Cons: Slow OS, Disappointing battery life, integration 650 software, limited or unavailable Bluetooth Features .
The Bottom Line: fair implementation of a great the Palm OS. OK for those who need basic integrated PDA and cell phone functionality. Integrates to both Widows and Mac PCs great.
Review: This is a long, but I hope informative and objective, review of the Treo 680. First, I have been a Palm OS user and proponent since the Palm Pilot in the mid 90's. I have been a huge fan of the simple yet powerful OS that, since the beginning, has ...

Pros: Plenty of memory space.
Signal strength better than 650 yet more compact.
Cons: Two software issues that need to be fixed quickly.
The Bottom Line: Hold onto your Treo 650 a little longer, Palm promises updates soon though.
Review: I've owned several smart phones over the last couple of years. Recently I'd migrated from the Treo 650 to the new Treo 680. I don't regret my decision, but I do feel that the product needs to mature a little further before I recommend other 650 owners ...

Treo 680 from Cingular

Pros: great shape and no antennae. I like the voice memo
Cons: Signal seems weaker than 650. not happy about having to do the returns.
Review: Treo appears to have great features that PalmOS users have come to expect. I bought mine from Cingular the day that they arrived in my local cingular store. I have had to return two of them and am on my third one. The first was locked up and would not ...

Why Palm/Treo is a Dying Idea

Pros: Appearance is nice.
3rd party software/accessories excellent.
Cons: Browser performance insufferable.
Operating system stodgy.
Keyboard difficult to use.
Included software archaic.
The Bottom Line: Do not buy this device. It is obsolete.
Review: When was the last time you considered a Palm/Treo? As cell phones converge, the personal information manager (as a stand-alone device) is dying as well. The concept of a personal information manager, indeed the whole bases for the Palm operating system ...

Pros: looks good
Cons: dropped calls, software issues, hardware probelms, you name it
The Bottom Line: Stay away - nothing but problems haven't heard a good thing yet
Review: I purchased the Palm 680 when it was released in Dec through cingular. It worked well and I had few if any problems for the first 2 months. When I added a 1gig SD card and MP3's the software problems started. The phone would freeze frequently between ...

Palm Treo 680 Three of Three all have software issues

Pros: Lots of available software. Prior models apparently of better quality.
Cons: Significant quality issues with the firmware and battery life
The Bottom Line: Avoid this until Palm works out the firmware issues.
Review: Update 5/18/07 Cingular switched the phone for a new one about a month ago. They felt that I just got a bad phone. The new one worked fine for a while. Last night it would not hot sync again. Today the same giberish appeared in the phone window used ...
