Panasonic Lumix® DMC-FX3 Digital Camera - One Step Forward, Two Steps Back

by   dkozin , lead in Electronics at Epinions.com ,  Jan 4, 2007
Pros: Low price, features, image stabilization, battery life, manageable redeye, performance
Cons: Lower LCD resolution than older models, chromatic noise
The Bottom Line: I like the Panasonic FX3, even though it seems to be worse than the FX01. For my money, I like it better than the Canon SD700. If you do not...
Review: Unfortunately, this Panasonic FX3 represents one step forward and two steps back in comparison to the P anasonic FX01. I have used both the C anon SD700 IS, and the Panasonic DMC-FX01 ...

Quick, great camera

by   orca21 ,  Mar 17, 2008
Pros: Quick shooting, nice quality at lowest level, decent zooming ability, special setting features
Cons: A little bulkier then others, easy to get lost in the menus, no car charger
The Bottom Line: I completely recommend this camera for anyone that is looking for a easy quick camera with nice features. Probably not for professional photographers.
Review: I traded for this camera with my husband, when he bought me a Pentax. I use it for work, and have taken thousand of pictures with it. I work in Real estate as an appraiser and when I take pictures of comparables I am usually breaking some street law, so ...

Great camera !!

by   cesarm66 ,  Nov 24, 2006
Pros: Great quality picture, excellent speed and great battery life
Cons: none
Review: Light, small and very easy to use. After research few other cameras, I narrow my choices between Cannon, Sony and Panasonic, This was the best price of the three without compromise quality. It takes excellent picture in low light and the optical image ...

Super little camera

by   midnitexpress ,  Dec 10, 2007
Pros: Ease of use, multi modes, shutter speed, size, and battery life.
Cons: could do with shutter priority setting, flash not that powerful.
Review: I've owned mine for a year and apart from a cheap digital, have always had 35mm SLR's. This one has done everything I ask of it, baby pics, scenery and even action shots although the light has to be good for top speeds.Even the video mode has been used ...

Great Camera!

by   neuwirthdave ,  Dec 26, 2006
Pros: Fast shutter speed. Long Life Battery.
Cons: No viewfinder - only a problem if you break the LCD.
Review: I love this camera. Fast shutter speed (with no flash) for a digital camera. The burst mode is great for sports. The large LCD looks great and can be backlit for bright sunlight. Quickly get used to not having a viewfinder and the anti-shake technology ...

Lumix DMC-FX3

by   jpumphandle ,  Feb 14, 2007
Pros: Good speed, low light, and image stabilization, sharp images, great lens, ease of use
Cons: No standard USB transfer cable, no charging cable, no case.
The Bottom Line: In spite of the non-standard connectibility, I am very satisfied with this camera
Review: Great camera for the money. It has a lot of features that help anyone take great pictures. I paid about $188 w/tax and have taken about 500 pics so far. Mostly for use on the web. I used the 3 Megapixel setting and a 1 GB SD RAM. Here's what I like: ...

Great Camera for the Money

by   sunnie55 ,  Sep 20, 2007
Pros: Ease of use, long battery life, convenient portability,anti-shake,nice photos that blow up well.
Cons: Need to be close to your subject in low light situations.
The Bottom Line: Panasonic was a pioneer company for the anti-shake feature and this camera is also VERY durable, but most importantly, picture quality is good.
Review: I purchased this camera a year ago and spent $245 dollars for it when 6 mega pixel was pretty much the top of the line. I previously had 2 Nikon digital cameras that never lasted more than 18 months before repair costs started building up. (Each of the ...
