Pros: Amazing box set, superb book, original liner notes, amazing sessions, insightful interview with the artist
Cons: None
The Bottom Line: This is the most amazing insight into a Jazz Genius, incredible book, original liner notes, Artist interview, unbelievable compositions done in his prime.
Review: In order to first understand Mingus, lets say you combined Richard Pryor, Lennie Bruce, Eddie Murphy, John Belushi and Bill Murray into one person and instead of comedy that person's craft, talent and art was music. Then let's say he was born in ...
