Pros: Nice sound quality.
Very comfortable.
Affordable.
Cons: Sound not brite if you like treble.
The material seems easily breakable.
The Bottom Line: Clearly not the best headphones on the market, but very good for portables. I definitley recommend them if you are looking for good headphones to replace mp3 earbuds.
Review: I got these to replace the earbuds that came with my mp3 player which were completely unsatisfactory. I tried a few other earbuds and portable headphones before getting these. My hearing is very sensitive in the high range. I have a pair of very popular ...

Pros: Fabric-wrapped cord, fairly comfortable, flattens for transport. Doesn't distort until VERY loud.
Cons: Only mediocre sound quality, open-design projects sound and causes moving-air noise.
The Bottom Line: Overall "good", not great. Many nice additions, nothing missing, and they seem durable enough for fairly rough treatment. If you need headphones for cheap, get these.
Review: I've got an old pair of Sony behind-the-head headphones. The only reason I kept them was because I could jog with them (earbuds hurt my ears, and Grado's aren't exactly "joggable"). They routinely shoved my glasses out of the correct spots, screwing ...

Pros: They sure were good at first!
Cons: Comfort, durability, and sound issues over time. =[
The Bottom Line: It's hard to find awesome sound from less than $15 headphones, but the great sounding, durable, and affortable Philips HS520 are way in the lead if you don't mind uncomfort.
Review: UPDATE 9/30/06 I at first thought very positively about these headphones. They had decent sound and good comfort and seemed durable at the beginning. Now, the sound is bad, the cord is a pain at the ears, and they are getting beaten up very quickly. I ...
