Pros: Fast, comfy, sleek, extremely reliable
Cons: None that I can think of
The Bottom Line: This machine was fast, comfortable, and gave me extremely little trouble. I was very pleased to own this car.
Review: I bought this car back in '98 while in the Navy, after seeing a friend of mine drive it. He had a problem getting it to start, and initially, while going on cruise, he said if I could get it to start, I could use it the entire time he was gone (*which ...

No regrets.

by   hritzert ,  Apr 8, 2003
Pros: Fast, responsive handling, and downright fun to drive!
Cons: Speedometer reads 85!!!
The Bottom Line: If you get a chance to buy one, even if it needs a lot of work, if you can afford it, GET IT! You will NOT be disappointed.
Review: I bought my 85 'Bird from my uncle while I was in college. It had 62000 miles on it at that time. I've never had a car like it! If you're looking for a performer, this is it. It has a 5.0, 305, V-8, with a 4 Barrel carb. I can consistently get it to...

Great sports car for your money!

by   SLJW70399 ,  Dec 8, 2001
Pros: Fast, fun, not as bad on gas as most people think.
Cons: Must be driven carefully in rain or snow.
The Bottom Line: Definitly buy this car if you are looking for reliability, high performance, good looks, and low price.
Review: I have a 1985 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am with a 5.0 liter 305 ci TPFI engine and t-tops. I bought this car because I wanted a low priced, but fats sports car that would also be my daily driver. I was considering either a Firebird or a Chevy Camaro....

Good car but made a better HOT ROD!

by   alexanderaku ,  Nov 11, 2004
Pros: Aero-dynamic shape, solid vehicle for a uni-body, low maintenance, and good handling.
Cons: Anemic as supplied from the factory.
The Bottom Line: Good buy for an upgrade for performance or economy with a dart like style.
Review: Okay, now you'll learn this Epinions review writer has some more talent? He may even be one of those responsible for some extreme burnouts you've seen on the pavement or at the least the pure sound of a true muscle car revved and performing at some time. ...

by   streetr101 ,  Apr 11, 2003
Pros: Great Looks, lots of power and rear wheel drive
Cons: Not very good in the rain and horrible in the snow.
The Bottom Line: A Great sports car and the one of the greatest muscle cars ever made along with the Camaro. Great looks and lots of power.
Review: I got my car used with 60,000 miles on it, the muffler and a few other parts had to be replace. I paid $1,800 for the car and after the repairs it came out to about $2,100.

The car handles great on dry roads and with the right tires it can...
