Pros: Excellent Cast. Great direction. The Pimp, who suggests reality. Vivian's wardrobe.

Cons: A bit too cynical, portrays a dangerous lifestyle as fun. No Cops, No Drugs.

The Bottom Line: Except for the lack of shadows, this is prime film noir. A feeble attempt at caution re: Public Health. Balanced handling of controversial subject.
Surprisingly entertaining.
