Russell Hobbs Motorized Toaster - Great Bagels!

by   DenimDude ,  Jun 10, 2006
Pros: Smooth, Retro-stylish toaster -with updated, Year-2000 features!
Cons: A bit pricey: 89.00 buckazoids
The Bottom Line: The Russell Hobbs 2-Slice, motorized toaster simply works well. No more hard, dry, crunchy toast. It's a Yum-Yum machine.
Review: This Russell Hobbs, model RH2MT, Motorized 2-Slice Toaster gives us the same great toast that our former Farberware model did when we were living in Illinois. Since I could not find the Farberware motorized toaster in Florida, I was pleasantly ...

Beautiful 50s "Sunbeam T-35" Retro Styling With 21st Century Electronics

by   roleku ,  Feb 9, 2005
Pros: High Quality, Even Toasting, Automatic Lowering, Beautiful 50s styling in brushed Stainless Steel.
Cons: None really, A bit pricey for a 2 slice toaster at the $99 MSRP.
The Bottom Line: 1960s like quality, Beautiful 50s retro/deco styling, Fully automatic lowering of toast and it toasts very well. What more could you ask for?
Review: When I decided to purchase a new toaster I swore I would not have another cheapo looking plastic bodied clunker on my counter any more. While there are many fine looking retro designed Stainless toasters on the market none have the styling or the fully ...

Wonderful and (retro) stylish Toaster

by   sslynch ,  Apr 17, 2006
Pros: Beautiful style, perfect toast and motorized!
Cons: None.
Review: I just bought this toaster--I found a fabulous deal on a a website and bought it new for only $39.99. However, it is worth the usual retail price of $60 or more. I wanted a retro-style toaster and this one is perfect. It takes up very little counter ...

Great toaster but failed after a few years

by   friendshipusa ,  Mar 8, 2007
Pros: Toasted well, liked the Auto bread lift when it was working.
Cons: Auto bread lift system stopped working. The toasting length needs to be longer.
Review: Bought the toaster because of memories of my Grandparent's toaster with an auto bread lift system. We were pleased after purchasing it a few years ago. It toasted the bread well. It did not have a long enough toasting length to accommodate some of ...

Motorized trash

by   caribislander ,  May 16, 2006
Pros: small footprint, metal body, motorized lowering/raising mechanism, toasts bagels good
Cons: toast bread unevenly, occasionally sticks, sometimes won't cancel, short slots
Review: I bought this toaster (for $39) because of its small footprint. The tab in one side that activates the down mechanism gets stuck when it rises and also when it is down. It has stuck numerous times and burnt bread to a crisp. I have to poke it with a ...
