Beware, Shadow Man Might Just Steal Your Soul (Metaphorically Speaking...)

Pros: Dark, Menacing, Gigantic Adventure, Perfect Controls, Quality Acting, a Great Story
Cons: plagued by the HORRIBLE ending. Blatantly derivative. Sporadic graphical glitches.
The Bottom Line: Tomb Raider style gameplay in a Banjo-Kazooie type of adventure through the netherworld. Who could ask for more?
Review: Shadow Man, which I felt was partly derived from Spawn and Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver in more ways than one, was a story of Michael LeRoy; failed literary-teacher-turned-cab-dr
iver
who lived in New Orleans. One day, LeRoy discovered ...

Pros: Very fun, good graphics, good storyline, great character development.
Cons: No multiplayer mode, limited replay value, requires memory pack to save.
Review: When I first saw this game on the shelves it looked very cool, and I was surprised to see that it had a Mature rating, considering that there are only a few others like that. I decided to rent it the next time I went to the video store, and when I...

Pros: Lots of objects to find. Many worlds to experience. Graphics good.
Cons: None
The Bottom Line: Recommend for any age.
Review: This is a long playing game. Collect objects to build your strength. Shadow Man travels to many worlds in search of various items and weapons to defeat the evil that is taking over the world. This is a great game. I am still trying to make my way ...

Pros: Wonderfully black faux-Victorian/ Breughelian vision of Hell; not afraid to break taboos.
Cons: Graphic engine and camera need work.
The Bottom Line: If you don't like this game, get a glass of milk and go back to Super Mario.... Hell will get you anyway, y'know.....
Review: Back to ShadowMan again after a long absence.....back to Deadside....it's nice to be home. Too grim a take on life? But we all have Mike LeRoi days. At least he knows he's not paranoid...he IS in Hell.
The game calls it Deadside, but it's... |

Pros: Great plot, music, and graphics, a lot of fun to play
Cons: not a lot of mindless killing, if that was what you are looking for
Review: Shadow Man is the first game to associate the words dark and disturbing with the Nintendo 64 and just for that it disserves a lot of credit. Shadow Man adds to that fact great graphics and gameplay, an incredible story and a longer adventure than...

Pros: graphics (if you have an expansion pack), music, movie sequences, game play, and overall challenge!
Cons: game ending, you'll need memory pack, better get an expansion pack
Review: I originally bought this game because of the Valiant comic book it is based on, and the fact that I like the games Acclaim makes. I have been disappointed with 99% of the games I've played on the N64, but not this time!
FINALLY SOME... |

Pros: Fantastic atmosphere, great gameplay.
Cons: Camera needs work, some annoying platform bits.
Review: Once hailed as "Zeldas evil twin", ShadowMan brings to the Nintendo 64 a welcome adult element to the console. And it is not just the blood, or the sporadical swearing the game is not gratuitous about the violence, (sorry to...

Pros: mature voodoo theme, uncensored, graphics, excellent plot, a general eerie feel
Cons: huge levels make you wonder around a lot, the controls are very unnatural
Review: I reviewed this product with the memory expansion pack and high resolution graphics. These grades are based on a 1-10 scale.
