Pros: bakes, broils, time cooks, defrosts
Cons: smaller than a conventional oven
The Bottom Line: Buy this appliance. You won't be sorry.
Review: The Sharp R-820B microwave and convection oven is a wonderful addition in my home. With electronic buttons, the Sharp does the following jobs-- broils, bakes, microwaves, time-cooks, makes popcorn, heats a dinner plate, heats a beverage, and it ...

Pros: Does a good job, both baking and microwaving
Cons: a bit small for serious bakers
The Bottom Line: Definately a good product - especially if you have a small kitchen and need both a microwave and an oven
Review: Limited kitchen space requires that products in my kitchen be small, efficient and hopefully do double duty. This oven does just that. It replaces a microwave, an oven, and a toaster. I purchased my unit over one year ago. I read several ...

Pros: Multiple ways of cooking in a single oven. Quite versatile.
Cons: User interface is a little squirrelly. Platform always rotates.
The Bottom Line: If you want a second oven and a microwave (and more) all in one, buy the Sharp 820.
Review: We purchased a Sharp 820 last year. We had some trepidations, since there were no epinions reviews and the views on Sharp's other models are sharply divided (love them or hate them). I'm happy to say we really like this machine. The microwave is ...

Pros: Very versatile; Cooks really well; Very intuitive;
Cons: Controls are a little confusing at first and will take some getting used to.
The Bottom Line:
Great appliance for any kitchen. Review: I have been using this Sharp Microwave/Convection oven for about a week now and I love it so much I couldn't wait to write a review. This is a great oven. It does everything! Funny thing is this isn't the one I initially ordered. I had ordered just ...

Oven good, Pre-sets and cook-book, not so much

Pros: Compact, combination cooking methods, somewhat versatile
Cons: Recipe pre-sets only partly adjustible, poor cook/instruction book, very hot rear upward venting.
The Bottom Line: I'd recommend for systematic experimenters with patience. For the impatient finnicky, not so much.
Review: Owned for over a year. Others have reviewed the features so I won't.Everything works as advertised so far. The many pre-set cooking methods and food recipes are only partially adjustible (usually temp and time only), but the absence of ...

Pros: Cooked most foods effectively, handy 2-in 1 oven saves space
Cons: Expired when the warranty did, Puzzling interface & instructions
The Bottom Line: Stay away from this model. Do your homework on the convection-microwave combo's before buying.
Review: My first convection oven. I was happy with my purchase. It was good while it lasted! The Pros: It was a luxury to have a 'spare oven' when I didn't want to heat up the large range, or to cook a dish when the big oven was already in use during the ...

Pros: None
Cons: Junk
Review: I purchased this microwave/convection oven 1 year and 4 months ago, it dropped dead while heating a cup of coffee, it is off warranty, we contacted sharp, and was told we have to pay to get it fixed, so we are out of luck, it is going to cost as much as ...
