Sony PEG TJ27 Clie handheld

by   cravener ,  May 16, 2004
Pros: features, size, design
Cons: short battery life, needs bluetooth, camera could be more powerful
The Bottom Line: Sony Clie PEG TJ27 has all needed business features, without music and telephone.
Review: I find the TJ27 Clie excellent for business purposes. Having looked at the specs for everything out there, this model came closest to my needs, and it works well except that battery life is very short. Half the capacity was taken by two hours of playing ...

Decent palm for a decent price

by   mattperk ,  Jul 12, 2005
Pros: Compact, nice looking, camera, Palm OS apps.
Cons: Tiny stylus, screen quality sub-Palm, weak speaker, shorter battery life.
The Bottom Line: This is a good general purpose palm; adequate power, decent screen, functional memory expansion, nice looks.

Sony's PEG-TJ27 is Competitive but Doesn't Win Over Palm's Tungsten E!

by   yusakugo , top reviewer in Computer Hardware at Epinions.com ,  Mar 17, 2004
Pros: 32MB memory, reasonable price, Digital Camera, High Resolution Screen, hold button?
Cons: No Headphone Jack, as expensive as TungstenE, Stylus Stinks, Camera More a Toy, Poor Buttons
The Bottom Line: Decent Handheld but still not as good as the Tungsten E despite having the addition of a decent camera.
Review: The new Sony models running Palm OS5 have just come out. However, are they worth their salt? Can Sony's new mid-range model compete with the Tungsten E? Like most mid-range PDAs there is a mix of benefits and disadvantages on the PEG-TJ27... although ...

Sony PEG TJ27 Clie PDA

by   jyamau ,  Jul 11, 2004
Pros: Built in camera, nice color display
Cons: Alarm is barely audible
The Bottom Line: OK if you don't depend on the PDA's alarm to keep you on schedule.
Review: My trust worthy Palm Vx finally gave out after years of service. So it was time to replace it. I selected the Clie TJ27 after some research. My PDA needs are very basic. I only really use two functions: 1) Maintain address and telephone numbers 2) ...
