Stout sound, good imaging and very comfortable

Pros: Solid, full sound. Comfortable for extended periods.
Cons: Treble could be brighter, but that's only relative to other designs.
The Bottom Line: The sound quality is great and so is the comfort. Costlier over-the-ear models may be a waste of money for most people.
Review: I had never owned over-the-ear headphones but I wanted these for late night TV viewing and noise screening. I'm comparing them to Sony's Fontopia in-ear design and several on-ear lightweight headphones I own. I do my listening through a good quality home ...

Pros: Great Deal.
Light weight and comfortable.
Sound great!
Good design!
Look expensive.
Cons: Feel cheap.
Review: Best deal I've ran across. I've been using Sony MDR-V700 DJ phones for quite some time. I love them. But they have a design flaw that causes the support for the ear piece to fail, ie, crack! I needed some phones but am limited on cash until I pay off my ...

Pros: Quality sound, great bass, clear mids, nice highs, mildly good comfort, strong cord.
Cons: Head band design makes comfort not top notch, all plastic leads too cheapy-ish exterior.
The Bottom Line: Looking for a cheap set to go along in gaming, or watching a movie, or listening to tunes? Give these a try!
Review: For $25 these are very good headphones. Why? Lets find out. -----Product Box / packaging The packaging was easy too open. The back was cardboard and the front is a bubbled plastic. (I guess I have an older unit, because, as I recall, the new Sony ...

Pros: good bass, clear treble, "roomy" closed headphones,
Cons: Feels a little fragile if used uncaringly
Review: I just bought these cans a few hours ago so it still hasn't been "burned" in yet..BUT I am already satisfied with the sound. For $40 bucks CDN, it's a very good price/performance ratio. I thought about getting the MDR-XD300 for double the price but I ...

Sony MDR-XD200 Review

Pros: Inexpensive, lightweight, extra long cord, circumaural design, comfortable to wear
Cons: Not for professional use or feel; Sound mode feature seems like a gimmick
The Bottom Line: I would not recommend these headphones for audiophiles or professional use. They serve their purpose. They would be more of a value priced at $20 a pair, not $30.
Review: I just purchased two sets of these headphones last night for my home recording studio. I wanted two extra pairs of headphones for guests who come to be able to hear what's going on while someone else is recording. I purchased these headphones at Target ...

Pros: Good open sound
Cons: My ears get hot after a while
The Bottom Line: If you want inexpensive cans with open sounds then this is a good set to have.
Review: I wanted to upgrade my $10 Labtec headphones that had 40mm drivers. I wanted a circumaural design so that the earpads wrapped around my ears and not rest on my ears. It was irritating when my ears would fatigue due to the pressure of the headphones on ...

Pros: Good price, tight seal
Cons: Hot, not too good of sound quality and background hiss
Review: I purchased these headphones a few days ago and granted although they are not expensive the sound quality is just horrid. I find that I am getting a lot of background hissing. I also need to turn my volume up quite loud to get any decent sounds from ...

Pros: Comfortable with good sound for the price
Cons: Bulky & feels cheap
Review: I was looking to replace some older Kenwood KPM-610 headphones, which would hurt my ears after extended listening sessions, since they sat on my ears. I found these Sony's at Target and figured that I'd try them out. While not the Sennheisers I was ...

Pros: Single sided cord hangs from left side only.
Cons: Forgettable sound quality. Bulky design. "Unplugged" headphones are very loud (body noise).
The Bottom Line: After several months of owning these headphones I have decided I would actually prefer not to own them.
Review: I purchased the Sony MDR-XD200 headphones approximately 6 months ago from a local store. I feel its important for you to understand just what I was purchasing these headphones for. These were to be nothing more than a secondary set of headphones in which ...
