The Hidden Treasure? Sony's MDRQ22LP Headphones Are Good Replacement Headphones

by   spongebag7 ,  May 13, 2006
Pros: Above average sound, very comfortable, don't fall off, decent price, interchangeable caps are cool
Cons: Awkward cord design, but otherwise, none!
The Bottom Line: Sony's MDRQ22LP headphones are excellent replacement headphones for a CD player, MP3 player, or iPod.
Review: Recently I've lost the pads to my MDREX51LP set and have been using Maxell's HB202 headphones. They are pretty below average. They have poor sound quality and fit weird and are uncomfortable. Going through a bunch of old stuff, thinking hey, maybe I'll ...

Good Phones....Bit Pricy...

by   evox ,  Apr 8, 2006
Pros: Nice clear sound. Plenty of Bass. Comfortable.
Cons: Steep Price Tag. Cord is a little lengthy.
The Bottom Line: They are worth the price tag. Great phones.
Review: Hello... I just bought these headphones today. All because the great sounding earbuds that came with my Iriver T30 finally couldnt take it anymore and the left earbud just stopped working completely and the right bud just went flat and lost its ...

Better than Buds

by   martytdx ,  Jan 10, 2006
Pros: good sound, stylish, more secure than ear buds, easy to put on
Cons: not great at noise cancellation.
The Bottom Line: If you want an inexpensive alternative to iPod's ear buds, try these over-the-ear phones.
Review: I've had my iPod for a year now, and I've loved it. However, as time went by one thing that was not holding up as much as others were the trademark earbuds. After almost 12 months, I think the rigors of traveling back and forth finally proved too much, ...

Great Alternative to Earbuds

by   desya ,  Aug 5, 2008
Pros: Good sound, comfortable, great portability
Cons: long cord, easily drowned out by mid to high outside noises.
The Bottom Line: This is a great pair of earphones for the price, and a great alternative to earbuds.
Review: I purchased these headphones with my last MP3 player approximately one year ago. I was looking for something easier to carry than normal headphones, but something other than earbuds as I am not very fond of them. I gave these a try, and was pleasantly ...

Sony MDR-Q22LP Headphones: Part 2 of the Quest for Decent Cheap Headphones Series

by   symbiosis , top reviewer in Electronics at Epinions.com ,  Sep 7, 2005
Pros: Adequate, balanced overall sound. Good comfort. Interchangeable caps.
Cons: Lacking in fine details and lower bass frequencies. Awkward appearance.
The Bottom Line: The Bottom Line still hasn't found the perfect pair of cheap headphones. The B.L. would probably recommend these to a friend, with reservations.
Review: Last weekend I finally joined the modern age and bought a MP3 player. I plan on using this player during bus and airplane rides. Since my Grado headphones are an open design headphone, they leak out a lot of sound and are not appropriate for use in ...

Stick to the Ten Dollar Headphones

by   ra64 ,  Mar 8, 2006
Pros: Decent comfort and sound
Cons: Excessively long cord tangles easily, expensive
The Bottom Line: Decent headphones but not worth the extra money
Review: My mother bought a pair of “w.ear” Sony MDR-Q22 headphones to listen to CDs at work, but ended up using them only a few times. Fortunately for me, she gave me these headphones after I broke the cheap earbud style headphones that came with my MP3 ...
