Pros: Great design, Ease of use and bright LCD screen.
Cons: No viewfinder and memory stick.
The Bottom Line: This is a great camera, you can take high quality stills, and small videos. Go with this cyber-shot over other lower quality cameras.
Review: The Sony Cyber-Shot
A fairly new creation from Sony, is blowing away other cameras; Its the sony Cyber-shot. This camera equipped with a CCD capable of taking pictures at 1600x1072 pixels. Thats enough to make a nice looking 8.5... |

Pros: small size, superb pictures, portable format
Cons: high price, possibility of Sony making the memstick proprietary
The Bottom Line: Buy it if you're in love with the camera, but be prepared to buy another memory stick.
Review: We were loaned a DSC-S50 while our DSC-F55 is in the shop (see my review of the DSC-F55), so I have an ideal opportunity to compare the two cameras. If I was buying a digital camera now, the DSC-S50 would be right in my price range, so I would probably...

Pros: small, excellent resolution, long lasting battery, zoom, easy to use
Cons: small memory stick included, so you will need to buy more
Review: My husband purchased the Sony DSC-S30 for me at Christmas. I was happy with it, but wanted MORE POWER! I figured, if you are going to pay that much money for something, what is a couple more hundred dollars? So, we returned the lower model to Circuit...

Pros: Inexpensive for the functions and gifts Sony gives to you
Cons: just needs a little more zoom... that's it!
The Bottom Line: Why bother getting a more expensive cam? This has it all! Get it, its cheaper now!!! UPTATES!
Review: Okay, simple review, and no b.s. (and please, could you rate my opinion? thanks ya'll).
My father bought the DSC-50 in March from the internet. We needed a camera (digital) because my grandparents wanted on-line photos of us all. Indeed they... |

Pros: compact, great LCD, reasonably priced, easy to use menus
Cons: no optical viewfinder, and NO LCD is very great in the sun
Review: Great little camera.
I used to use a Nikon SLR system, so like to do 'interesting' things, in addition to the routine point and shoot pictures of the family. It's compact, makes great pictures, is easy to use, and has a few 'must have features'... |

Cons: Cannot set timer to take 60 second movie, must hold down button for more than15seconds.
The Bottom Line: This camera combines the reputation of sony into an all in one package. A must have for those wishing to dive into the world of digital cameras.
Review: After months of research, this camera consistently came out on top. It features 2.1 megapixel resolution pictures, movie mode (320x240) and a free angle LCD. The camera stores pictures on Sony's Memory Stick technology, available up to 64mb. Uses a Sony...

Pros: very simple interface, multi usage for memory sticks, USB link, long time battery...
Cons: design a bit old fashion
Review: I have been using old fashion cameras for a long time now. It was during summer 2000 when I spend a month in Japan that I decided to go for a digital camera.
First, I wanted something light that takes good quality pictures because I was doing... |

Pros: Convenient, Great pics, easy to use
Cons: No viewfinder, expensive
The Bottom Line: A great camera for the casual or professional photographer. Much improved over the Mavica series.
Review: I bought the Sony DSC-S50 about a year ago, and have used it extensively. I thought it would be nice to share my experiences and thoughts about this camera with the rest of the world.
