Pros: Impressive power, great handling, comfortable interior, safety
Cons: Some cheap interior materials, bland exterior styling, no connection for MP3 player
The Bottom Line: The Legacy is now the car to beat in my new car search.
Review: My Search: Before I get to the actual review, I just want to give some context as to what kind of car I am looking for in terms of needs and preferences. This was you'll have a better basis for how my opinion may or may not fit with your own. ...

Pros: Impressive low end torque. Good Handling. NOT frumpy anymore. Upscale from Imprezza.
Cons: Fuel economy. Not up to date technology wise.So-so tires.
The Bottom Line: A Sedan that is fun, safe and practical for you and your family. Raves from Road and Track,IIHS.org and more. Tremendous bang for the buck performance,Subaru rally bred experience.
Review: Being a former Impreza/wrx 2004 owner, driving was very fun as long as I was around home. Long trips yielded very tired and exhausted driver and passengers. What to do?? Enter the 2006 Subaru Legacy GT. I wanted class so Obsidian black on Black ...

Pros: Great performance, very good handling, a warm, attractive interior, and a very aggressive stance.
Cons: Access awkward without moving seat back; foot well small.
The Bottom Line: Highly recommended: for independent minded who wants to be involved in his or her driving. It's performance and handling are excellent, and the 4 wheel drive affords great security.
Review: Introduction: I traded a 2000 Infiniti I-30 for a Subaru Legacy GT. I was looking for more security driving though the West Virginia mountains in the winter, more involvement in my driving, and a sportier feel. I choose between the GT and the Tech B, ...

Pros: Power, price and reliability
Cons: Understeer during cornering. Gas mileage. Exterior front design.
The Bottom Line: The car is well built and powered for the right price;-it does not try to mislead you in thinking that it is something that it is not.
Review: GT 2.5 Model We have been somewhat skeptical about purchasing Subaru initially. So when the car was finally purchased it was a very pleasant surprise: - Ample amount of power - Good handling - Well known AWD system - Simple, non provocative ...

Pros: Looks, handling, quality, interior and value.
Cons: None that I have found.
Review: Just bought an 06 Legacy 2.5i Special Edition (non-turbo) and love it. Looks much better than the competition, handles like a sports car and is very comfortable. It's not a rocket ship, but I opted for the naturally aspirated engine to keep costs down ...

Pros: HandlingAppealing to the eyesMinimal blind spots
Cons: Small Backseat
Review: I love this car. I have owned SUVs and tiny coupes, and after having this car for one day, I would never go back to any of them. The Legacy handles and accelerates like a sportier car, but provides the benefit of all-wheel drive like that of ...

Pros: A nice driver's car
Cons: Passenger accommodation is very poor considering competition.
The Bottom Line: Great car for two people, with limited comfort in the rear. Below average rear leg room and space keep this from being an excellent car.
Review: Our family test drove the 2006 Legacy 2.5i wagon yesterday and came away with mixed reviews. I found the "adjustability" of the driver's seat excellent - and even with not having a telescopic adjustment on the steering wheel I was able to quickly find ...

Pros: handling, safety
Cons: lack of space in the back seat, starting the car
The Bottom Line: This vehicle more than met our needs for our long weekend but the back seat just didn't have much leg room.
Review: This last weekend I had a rental car for my stay out of town. Although I had requested a compact car I was upgraded to a Subaru Legacy. We were in Portland and one of the first things we got to test on the road were the wipers, as it was raining on ...
