Pros: Can make bread as often and unique as I would like, while saving $.
Cons: User manual.
The Bottom Line: If you have a bunch of munchkins that love bread, than this is the product for you.
Review: Why is the Sunbeam 5891 Bread Maker better than sliced bread? Because it makes so much more than bread! I have been tickled pink with my Sunbeam 5891 Bread Maker. This is the second machine I have purchased from Sunbeam. Why I chose the ...

Pros: easy to use, cheap, house smells like bakery,
Cons: I gained weight from eating too much bread.
The Bottom Line: If you are a sucker for a good fresh bread, buy it. Easy to use and inexpensive. Impress your friends with good bread.
Review: I moved to the US from Europe and I am deeply in love with this country and its inhabitants. The only thing I cannot stand is American bread. It is a biggest wonder for me why to make bread you need to include 50 ingredients and why it tastes so awful. ...

Pros: Works very well and was an excellent value. Much better than expected.
Cons: Recipe book is sub-par.
The Bottom Line: You can pay lots more for a fancy machine, but unless you are a pro and need a complex machine, you won't find a better value!
Review: I've had my 5891 about three weeks. My wife and I were going to consider getting one for Christmas, but when we discovered that Amazon would deliver one for a total price of less than $40, we decided not to wait. This is bread machine number four for ...

Pros: Does a great job at an amazingly low price
Cons: Terrible manual
The Bottom Line: Buy the machine, throw away the manual and either buy a good bread machine recipe book or let your Google do the walking.
Review: I'd like to just echo the aggregate Internet opinion of this machine: It does a great job and is amazing value for the price, but the manual is terrible. I first tried their recipe for French bread and it came out with a sunken top and a mealy, heavy ...

Pros: Cheap. Long lasting. Selectable loaf size and color.
Cons: Instruction book could be better but with the internet you can get past that.
The Bottom Line: Buy this if you want a cheap bread maker that will last. Mine has proven its worth over and over.
Review: I bought this about a year ago and make about 3-4 loaves a week. It had some wobble issues on my unlevel counter but a piece of cardboard fixed that right up. This really is a good machine for the money. I would recommend it to anyone who likes fresh ...

Pros: Inexpensive, easy to use & clean, attractive design
Cons: Limited recipes in booklet
Review: This is my 2nd bread machine, and thus far I've been pleased. I make bread at least once a week. This unit is convenient, easy to use, and easy to clean. I am tweaking my recipes to prevent the dreaded collapsed top syndrome, but taste-wise and ...

Pros: Easy to use, decent recipes
Cons: None
Review: My husband bought me the 5891 for Christmas almost 2 years ago, and I absolutely love it. I bake at least one loaf a week (there's not much need for more than that with just the two of us).I've used almost all the settings on it (except for the jam and ...

Pros: Dump in the ingredients, push a few buttons, eat bread.
Cons: Display is very hard to read - needs to be backlit.
Review: A very low-cost and easy-to-use bread maker. Ditch the recipe book that comes with it and go to Allrecipes.com and check out their section for Bread machine recipes. The bread I make is WAY better than the stuff that comes in a wrapper and WAY cheaper. ...

Pros: Makes great bread
Cons: Heavy rye flour makes it work hard .But it made nice bread .
Review: For the money , or any money cannot be beat. Have baked 30 lovely loves with almost no salt or sugar . It's best to watch the kneading process as different flours act differently . You can make fine adjustments by adding small amounts of flour or water ...

Pros: Overall, a great unit for a beginner or someone who just wants an economical unit
Cons: More recipes with it would be nice.
Review: This machine is not the fanciest machine around by any means, but it is loaded with nice features that make it ideal for a person who's never used one before. A different setting for each type of bread (basic, sweet, french etc. I think there are twelve ...
