Pros: sound-isolating, excellent sound quality, neutral & well balanced, seemingly durable cable
Cons: may require fidgeting with EQ, finding optimal fit takes a while / experimenting
The Bottom Line: Superb sound quality. May take time finding optimal fit but well worth it! Loves high quality encodings!
Review: The Dilemma After the cable on my Sony MDR-EX81LP started to loose its rubber coating and the wires themselves started fraying after 2.5 years, it was about time to start researching a replacement / upgrade. Although the cutting edge style of ...

Pros: Absolutely wonderful sound...sturdy *equilateral* cord...different sets of sleeves for a great fit
Cons: Sleeves are proprietary...sooner or later they'll wear out, and only available through Shure
The Bottom Line: Any music lover--serious or casual--would benefit greatly from these...amazing sound reproduction, reasonably priced (esp. on the Internet), sturdy construction. Well thought out and engineeered!
Review: Im going to start this review by telling you that I love music
and Ive always wanted to take my music with me. I was one of the first in my neighborhood to own a cassette player in the early 70s
I worked up and through the Walkmans and Discmans ...

Pros: Fantastic sound from comfortable headphones that will stay put
Cons: Not true noise-canceling; a little pricey
The Bottom Line: An excellent set of in-ear headphones that produce a rich array of sound and are very comfortable to wear.
Review: After many years of faithful use from my set of Sony earbuds, I had gotten to the point where I was ready to try a slightly more sophisticated set of in-ear headphones (read: the rubber on the right cord was worn to the point where there was over an inch ...

Pros: Sound isolation
Clear sound
Full range of sound
Not any less comfortable than everyday earplugs
Cons: The carrying case design
Make sure you put on the ends that fit your ear
The Bottom Line: Recommended to anyone looking to upgrade from their below the line headphones. Probably not for "quick" applications, where you need to take them in and out all the time.
Review: I've had the headphones for about two weeks now, and they are very nice. The sound isolation is much better than I expected--you can do loud things like mow the lawn or drive down the freeway with the windows down--and still listen at a low enough ...

Pros: Great price to performance ratio, excellent sound isolation
Cons: Takes getting used to at first, can get annoying to take in and out
The Bottom Line: Get it if you want to spend less than $80 and want portable, excellent earphones!
Review: Introduction I bought the E2c as replacements for my Sony EX71s which just stopped working in one ear... time for a sound upgrade anyhow. The Earphones I was looking for were to be used whilst travelling to and from school on a noisy bus as ...

Pros: Amazingly balanced and impressive clarity.
Cons: A little uncomfortable. Inserting them takes some practice.
The Bottom Line: Sensational sound quality and balance. For the $100 price point, I don't think you can find a better set of headphones, buds OR over ear.
Review: First off for reference I'm going to say a few things... I stay away from anything audio wearing the name badges of Sony, Panasonic, Samsung, etc... Those companies produce some great products, but for audio I stick with names like Grado, Sennheiser, ...

Pros: Super quality earbud headphones. Superior sound quality with great environmental sound attenuation.
Cons: Funky plugs take some customizing to make these killer earbuds comfortable, but well worth it.
The Bottom Line: Expensive, a value if music is important to you. The best earbuds I have listened to that I could afford. You'll have to fiddle with the attachments, don't give up!
Review: Got these babies for Christmas and love them. The sound with my iPod is awesome. Unless you are a professional these are all you'll ever need to enjoy quality music. Shure has been in the business forever and they make good stuff. Now it did take a while ...

Pros: QUALITY through and through. Quality construction, sound and accessories.
Cons: Can't think of any - for the price - they're awesome
The Bottom Line: Buy these and FIT THEM PROPERLY and you will not be disappointed!!
Review: I wanted to replace the OEM earbuds with something 'great'. I read the reviews and decided upon the E2C for several reasons. The first being "Isolation" earbuds - these are simply ear plugs that allow a sound tube to go into your ear. They block out ...

Pros: Great durability and excellent sound quality.
Cons: Takes a few seconds longer to get into your ear properly.
The Bottom Line: These are truly a fantastic set of headphones. Had I spent twice as much for them, I would still consider these well worth it and a bargain at that.
Review: History: I bought my e2c's 1.5 years ago for $80 and have no complaints at all. I am not going to go into the technicals but only how they have lasted up until this point (Jan '07). Usage: iPod - When at the gym or running. ...
